Mainpat | Ulta pani | Magnetic hill | Visarpani | Hotel dev heritage | Parpatiya sunset point
After reaching Mainpat we first choose to drive straight to Ulta pani. To drive to the point one has to take a right turn 5 kms before Mainpat. There are no sign boards on that turn so we can follow google maps. The place is famous because a stream of water flows uphill defying the law of gravity. After reaching there we confirmed this by floating a paper boat on the stream and it sailed uphill.
After driving into Mainpat we checked into Hotel Dev heritage and then headed straight to sunset point at Parpatiya. Inroute we stopped alongside a pond for sometime and then reached Parpatiya by 5:00pm. The place is quite beautiful and the best part is that you can drive your car straight to the view point. Watching sunset from the place is quite an experience and after sunset for sometime we can witness the whole area is filled with a beautiful orange twilight.
Mainpat has many tourist points and today we covered only two of those. Rest points will be covered in the next vlog.
Road condition : All roads in and around the two points that I covered are in quite good condition. For Ulta pani you have to take a turn 5 kms before Mainpat and Sunset point is almost 25 kms ahead of Mainpat. It will take at least half an hour to reach the place.

Yes....Infrastructure needs to improve but still its good enough. I think the main problem is that not too many people know about tourist spots in CG and those who know avoid coming here because of hearing negative news caused due too insurgency. Yes there are some Maoist problems in South CG but a tourist is never bothered here.
