very nice review going to japan next month in oct and found this review, at the time of writing this, the dji is $300 and rode is $400, so this is really appealing especially for beginners like myself

If you can afford it, I would recommend these over the J12s / Fulaim X5 Wireless Microphone Lavalier Review - BEST under $130? kzbin.info/www/bejne/faPRlqyGnbFpgZo

This does sound okay… but compared to some of the similar priced options with pop filters on, that wind is really bad. Same with the “P”s just while talking. I’d definitely find some sort of wind filter work around as that’s almost unusable outside.
@PocketCams Жыл бұрын
Yes - for that reason, I’d use ther Fulaim X5 which I’ve recently reviewed - different price point through, though much cheaper that Rode and definitely more affordable that DJI mic

I like the sound quality as an upgrade compared to the iPhone and the wireless Go. I think that if you plan to use the phone for a while the lightening connector is great. I will be adding this to use with both my iPhone SE 2016 and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Great Review... These look amazing, but can't help but think in a few months with USB-C iPhones these will be less desirable.
@PocketCams Жыл бұрын
True. But for $50 I’ll get a good year or more out of them plus resale value.

The Ulanizi far from a good and at 04:51 the sound here seems worse than with noise reduction (and in your hand is better:-)). Question do you wanna spend money just for something because cheap? And how record the two mic sound, left and right or mixed?
@PocketCams Жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for checking out my video! I hear you on the Ulanzi, it's not the best, but hey, it's budget-friendly! As for recording with two mics, I am not sure - I don't use these much any more as I have progressed to using the Fulaim X5 more
@joewolf38 Жыл бұрын
@@PocketCams Yes, indeed. But how many tools we have that are almost as good, but still not, and then they sit on the shelf:-). The question is, how do you record the microphone sounds on a separate track, because if you can't, it's unsuitable for "serious" work. The documentation doesn't say anything, but I have heard sounds recorded with this pair of mics and they are pass-through and phased.

A quick question - Does this work directly with iPhones default camera for shooting videos or do we need to download another camera app for it work? Thanks in advance for your guidance ❤❤

I’m sorry - I’m not sure. I no longer have this mic. As far as I can recall it worked with the native app but it was pretty quiet.
