I have 2. One broke down completely after 3 months (switch broke), one doesn't switch on reliably and mostly doesn't ramp up. The light was actually ok, but the build quality of the mechanical parts (basically the potmeter / switch) is awful. I'm back to my old VL49's that still work (one doesn't charge completely though). You get what you pay for.
