I’m an old head from Southside of Chicago that stumbled upon this. My friends and I love watching the youth in SA with AfroHouse and Amapiano. It reminds us of House Music in the 80s in Chicago. You would hear a lot on the weekends, at night. Every car that pass you by played house music. Over the summer, I went to a small conference, downtown Chicago called: from House Music to AfroHouse to Amapiano. It house by DJ Jozana Sithole. SA born, Southside Chicago raised. All the legends in their late 40s to early 50s and older were their. Rob Carroll Ron Trent Glenn Underground DJ Lady Dee K’Alexi Robert Williams - the creator of the first super disco/House club in Chicago ‘The Warehouse’ Needless to say, the love what youth in SA are doing.
