Right after this went up, 'someone' put out a 'press release' (which is more like a blog) 'clarifying' the differences between his nonsense and things that are real. It's nice to know that he pays so much attention to everything I do. It makes me feel just oh so special.

Kevin and I both send our ordinations through to Modesto. He's a good guy. I'm surprised that that person was not nasty to you. He is to everyone else, pretty much.

What's an extremely common name in the United States? John Smith? Given the circumstances, you are being somewhat criminally negligent by not giving full disclosure on this issue, it's origin, and all you know on the subject. Should someone fall victim to some of these shenanigans now you very well may be liable legally as you have begun to exert a duty of care and thus maintain it to an adequate / acceptable level (talk to your lawyers about negligence). Please update w/ real information/facts.

The other churches you mention certainly aren't in any way connected to the one I'm getting the calls and emails about. I'm sure those other churches behave in a reasonable and caring fashion. I hoped you learned a lot from all of them. :)

This minister in question does exactly that -- defrocks people. Sounds almost obscene.

Amy, you didn't have to mention him by name. I've dealt with him once here in New York but I do have to say at least to me he wasn't really nasty hovever, I could see him being nasty to others though. I'm already ordained by 3 different churches. The ULC through Kevins Website was my First in 2002.
