You are so lucky you have the NHS. When I had to get my endoscopy it wasn’t covered by my insurance because of my age so I have to pay $7,000 for it. Insurance in the US is so expensive and I feel like it hardly covers anything for people who really use it to max potential. I still have to pay for so much of my treatments then on top of it all the money it costs for all my prescriptions. It adds up so fast!

Oh gosh, that is a LOT of money!!! I don’t know how people manage having to pay for their treatments. It would be good if the US could adopt something similar to the NHS in the future. We pay for it through taxes technically I guess!

I would very much love for the US to do something similar for us. If you have medicaid which is mostly for “disabled” or pregnant woman and low income kids then everything is covered. But even though I am super sick and have health problems I’m not considered “disabled” so I don’t meet the requirements. It’s all just awful no matter what.

That's the problem for your acne it's a worst drug, my friend got shingles from this drug.

I’ve had acne for about 10 years before I started Azathioprine so unfortunately it’s not that, I wish it was as simple as that though! I’ve had great results with it, its the only drug so far that pushed my colitis from moderate down to mild and I had little to no symptoms for a while! 🥰 sorry you friend had a rough time on it!
