I dropped mine last week. Now the rear camera is showing issues. It looks like I'm recording the heat rising off a hot highway and when I take a picture or video, it's out of focus, so dropping it can screw up the rear camera. Leave it as it may, I'm looking at a replacement but not looking at UleFones.

Found this phone and jus started using it and it's freaking amazing. The battery life and phone sound it's amazing especially if I want a loud alarm clock. Scared TF outta me when I went to test it out. This phone can show 4k60fps using vlc. Only thing I wish it had is dolby audio cause with headphones it's not loud enough. Anyways this and my Samsung S9+ is my favorite phones of all time. Loveeeeee the battery life on this especially since I'm like mr downloader over here lol

Ulefone Don't even think that their phones resist dropping water! Bought a Ulefone Armor 3T for 7 months specifically for water sports. Have been cautious for the first six months. Always use water proof phone ziplock cover before kayaking. Finally decided to put this phone to a test for it's IP68/ IP69K standards. Naked phone on my spray skirt with cord hanging on my neck while kayaking to open water. Didn't even drop it to the sea. Just keep splashing sea water to the phone. 15 mins later, picked it up trying to take some pictures. The screen shut off after a brief flash. Never power up again. Took it to the sole agent for repair. The first thing they said was that warranty do not cover water sports. What is this policy?! A self-proclaimed rugged phone do not cover water sport damaged? And they even said that there is a test paper set inside the phone. If the test paper change color, it means that this phone has been damaged by water and it's out of warranty? This even make me more confused. What is the logic behind? The test paper can proof that this phone maybe damaged by water, but why it makes warranty voided? Why the manufacturer claim it a rugged phone to start with? 3 weeks later, repair center called and said that the antenna cap wasn’t shut completely when use in water. They keep changing alibis to stay away from responsibilities. Unreliable business attitude.

Glad to see a thorough review of this phone; my only complaint is that you say it won't work on Verizon or Sprint without testing that claim. Ulefone's specs for the Armor 3 shows full support of the CDMA and LTE bands for Verizon and Sprint, but they're using a MediaTek SOC instead of a Qualcomm chip. CDMA support isn't a huge deal since Verizon doesn't require CDMA anymore; the OnePlus 6T doesn't support CDMA and works with Verizon after jumping through some hoops. I would be interested to see if it works on Verizon (good luck getting a Sprint SIM) and if so how well it works. You'd need an already active Verizon SIM to test it since they won't have the IMEI in their database. Subbed for your coverage of these largely unheard of brands and the great video. Keep up the good work!

Great phone, just arrived today. Looks solid, feels solid, its heavy when u compare this to z5 compact but for me its a good thing, i like to feel phone in my hand. Display is great, YT / netlflix videos in full hd looks fantastic, sound is ok, games runs very well. Now cameras, not bad at all, if u will install app like a Open Camera u have wider possibilities, image quality is fine, will be ok for instagram of facebook. Overall superb phone for price. Just moved from sony z5compact and i am really happy. Super product.

There seems like there is a thin screen protector already on the phone but it also come with a screen protector separately Is the separate screen protector and extra or should i replace the one that is on there? Mostly just because we've become so brainwashed into thinking the large monopolies are the be all end all of everything so they've kinda stopped trying. We just keep buying the same ol' junk over and over again because they make a "new" one. They don't need to do anything different to get our business. And besides, the phone manufacturers are in bed with the major cell networks and do their best to prevent the little guy from even sharing in the market. I'm just now looking to replace my S5. I got 6 years out of that phone on top of buying it lightly used. Still works, but the battery sucks and none of the replacements last. Guess them monopolies ain't doing a good job at getting my money, but these lesser known brands hell, I'll give them my money if it's reasonable and they have a good product. I'm really liking this Ulefone.

@@WayneClark Haha agreed! However I'm still on the REAL unlimited plan so I RAPE that shit for everything it's worth. I'll bet Verizon doesn't see many people using upwards of a TB a month! Of course what do they really care, it's not like it's costing them anything. However from what I've read, this phone will apparently work on Verizon, you just have to swap in a sim that's been activated on a different phone. I think I'm going to risk it and try it.

Initally put a new 128gb SD card in phone. It didn't recognize it so it needed to format it. OK. So, followed the rules. Going on a trip, wanted to put some video's and music on the phone. Plugged phone into a Win 7 PC. See's phone, but that's all it does. Can't put on or take off media. Got new 200gb card (faster card). Wanted to copy any files I've already installed and on my orig SD card over to the 200gb card. No such luck. Tried a few drivers. One made my "Hitman pro" go crazy. It removed 11 threats so good luck finding a decent driver that lets you access your SD card. So, in retrospect, had I known this, I'd not gotten the phone.

With the camera, I found that my ulefone armour x had a very choppy and slow video but I downloaded a better camera app from Google play and it's much more fluid now with more features.

Do not buy Ulefone brand , they will only last you for a 5-6 months, I had bad experience with Armor 1 and 2.Their warrenty is also useless, they will try their best to blame the issue on the buyer ( very unprofessional service)...I suggest going for other low end brands like Lenovo, Huawei, HTC or Appo, they are much better in quality and service.

I have one of these Armor 3's. It works great but the camera is garbage, especially in video mode. It constantly hunts in and out for focus. Nowhere near as good as my 5 years old Samsung was.

Not really. The police units, that have older equipment, use VHF analogue band. The ones with new stuff, use encrypted digital transmissions. This phablet can operate on UHF analogue and digital band.

@Mihir. Short answer. NO, if you use it as INTERNAL memory. I've yet to figure out a way to make the SD card icon go away on the top task bar if you select Portable storage. But regardless how you set it up, you can't just drag files off the phone. You have to remove the mem card. Maybe there's away but it doesn't jump out at you. Long answer: 1. I bought the armor 3wt. The walkie-talkie does not work. Six months after the phone fingerprint scanner failed. The camera quality is not that great. The battery is good. Customer service with the company very bad. They were very unwilling to help fix the walkie-talkie. I don't recommend to buy one.
