As an Aventuria 1.0 veteran, I was ambivalent when a 2.0 version was announced. It seemed like a great move to refocus the game on campaign play and expand its audience, but I didn't want my collection to become obsolete. This will be a great jumping-on point for many new players-but should it be a jumping-off point for me? I'm glad to hear that so much of this is completely new. And I'm impressed by the answer to the question "If I already have the 1.0 versions of Nedime and Borborad, should I buy the new Desert box?" Many publishers would have tried to make extra sales of this big box even though we already have 90% of its content. Instead Markus basically says "Probably not." That response earns my respect, since I have become sick of the rampant FOMO-baiting hucksterism involved in most crowdfunding campaigns. I'm really looking forward to this crowdfunding campaign now.

@Markus Zur SPIEL Essen sind es tatsächlich schon 10 Jahre ;) By the time of SPIEL Essen it will actually have been 10 years ;)
