Ulpianus is ABSOLUTELY BUSTED

Ulpian is really strong just at sl7 already, his stats are so bloated that it's honestly comical. Compared to hoederer for instance I think there's no competition as Ulpian just completely trashes on him. Also keep in mind that his stats are higher than it would normally be because Skadi is buffing him but even then at SL7 he has more than 10k HP and 5.5k atk on top of his insane range that he can plunge from and I didn't even bring Gladiia here which would legit make him immortal

Unironically he doesnt buff other units to the same extent he gets buffed by them but he is the best unit to get AH buffs. Only if he had elemental regen too tough

Tbf hes stepping on the healing tile which does contribute to the survivability but yeah it would probably heal the same as gladiia and even better with the 30% dmg reduction

AH Buff: - Skadi with Module --> Atk 24 % and HP 20% - Specter Alter with Module --> HP 30 % and SP Regen 0.5 - Gladiia with Module --> 30% Damage Reduction and HP Regen (she must be deployed) - Specter with Module --> Bonus damage 5% - Andreana with module --> 20 ish Atk Spd Imagine the dev introduce AH operators again

For S3M3 with fully buffed AH squad 18k hp, so that will yield 680~hps and 30% reduction from basically everything (beside elem) 2s atk from 2.5s and whooping 7.5k atk That anchor really weights a lot

He has much better survivability in exchange for shorter cycle and less consistent stun. Their s3 should be roughly equal but Ulpi's s2 is straight up better at laneholding

He's better but not much. Hoederer still beat him in certain aspects. But with the AH team buff, he can easily solo Patriot's both phases without dying.

So he have 2 really strong passive healing from talents, he doesn't have the same weakness like any others Crusher due to his 1st talents. This is him with out most AH buff and he already stronger than Hoerder as a Lane holder.

His passive regen is only 100/160 HP every time he get's hit. Most mobs have 300 attack at least.

@@januszpolak254 That just having 100-160 def while being a crusher. That make him much better than Hoederer. And with his s2 he will have a lot more 'green def' from his passive. Not to said his s3 has the same Mutipler with surtr s3 while having attack stats almost 3 time higher than hers (With skadi the attack stats even reach higher). Even when without Gladia and Skadi which make him much weaker, he still stronger than Hoederer at a solo unit.

@@user-ft1ru8jv1z Solo, nah. Hoederer with S3 has extended range, True Damage, stun, and %-based self-healing, plus the permastun on his S2. Ulpian's stats are better but if you don't have an AH team Hoederer gives you more and is prob easier to use.

@@psl6145Tbf the permastun is very situational. They need to have an even higher atk interval than Hoederer (whose is already heightened by activating his S2). Balance ig... But funny in atk spd+ IS Altho I do agree that S3 generally is better than Ulpianus' S3 (outside of AH team)

@@psl6145 hoed's extended range on s3 doesnt matter when ulp can just straigh up approach enemies. Hoed's s3 also has bad skill cycle while ulp has better skill cycle with stop button too. Heck just the damage alone, hoed's s3 only has +120% atk while ulp has +260% atk Stunlock on hoed's s2? What stunlock? Did u know that stunlock mean stunning enemies continously that that they cant attack or move? Hoed's atk interval is 2.5 & with s2 its +0.5. unless its enemies with atk speed rating of C or below (c= roughly 3.5-5), hoed wont stunlock

Just looked on the wiki for this guy's stats, they really decided to give him the most insane modifiers on any character in the game. For S2, twice Blaze's base attack values, on an even higher modifier. For s3, just the phrase "Attack +260%" should tell you what nonsense you get yourself into. Such a shame, Hoederer is infinitely more interesting than this dork, much of his power being based around some slightly more specific niches, but for some reason they couldn't even give him a full year before they just made a better version of him anyway, whose power is entirely frontloaded as hell, in the most obnoxious way possible. At least Mlynar was funny.

For those who don’t know his S3 counts as redeployment but he keeps 3 things 1. His current HP 2. His talent 2 stacks 3. His skill progress. This means he resets things like his Elemental HP bar

There are condition when Mountain have good performance than Ulpian, but I agree, Ulpian can not dethroned Laneholders like Blaze or Mountain anytime soon.

@@NorugaA This is still correct though, Mountain and his S2 is still a 11 DP + 5 SP combo which breezes through most general contents with ease. If anything it is those long ramp up units like Chongyue Blaze Thorns who got hurt the most, but again all of the units in the comparisons aren't even used much in advance contents either.

He still suffers from 0 Def, but using him in an AH squad will bloat his already ridiculous stats and give him the survivability he needs.

It's a weird comparison, but Ulpianus is sort of an infinitely better version of Ebenholz S3....I think? You can throw a tactical nuke from across the map, dealing AOE dmg + stun, 10k+ burst Physical dmg so DEF be damned, and if the enemies aint die already Ulpipi just whack his massive stat stick into their face till everything becomes silent, then bail back to his position for the next tactical nuke.
