Well, crushers are stat extreme ops. The 4 star can kill elites better than most 4 stars with positioning. The 5 star can do odd mob wipes or somewhat heavier dmg. And the 6 stars can wipe mobs or solo bosses. It's the usual balance.

One thing worth noting is that you might want to consider Mumu a part of AH squad. The buff AH squad get also works on Mumu’s clone and if you copy Ulpianus with Mumu s2 you’ll basically have 2 unkillable things on the board. The Ulpianus clone will also have def (since melee clone have permanent stat steal).

It gets the atk and hp buffs, but without the gladiia mod I imagine specter would still be a better tank. Mine has 4.2k hp right now and can have up to 5072 with ulpianus buff at max, and heals 5.5% every second with 30% phys and arts resist. Might as well leave mumu to her stronger ranged form. To anyone curious, I run abyssal with mumu and she doesn't seem to copy the atk speed buff, just the hp and atk buffs. She also copies stuff like eunectes s1 and eyja caster buff

@@Shane24597 Yeah. I also won’t leave her clone as Ulpianus the entire stage. But my first clone is usually a melee unit because I refuse to use 2 vanguards in any of my team and ended up needing early blockers lol. My main clone in a stage is probably a Caster I bring together with AH team (because AH team struggles with dealing arts damage), Andreana and sometimes Ray. But Skadi is probably the one I copy the most. Which will definitely change to Ulpianus once he comes.

I use mumu in my ah squad with a pocket caster when magic is needed but when not her AH clones slap. I try pure AH, then "fishy units", then The Good Team.

if you think about it, ulpianus healing talent is like defence, but better, it reduces damage taken by a flat amount, just like defence but if the damage is too low it heals him, on top of that it works against arts, true and elemental damage and cannot be reduced (unless there is an enemy/mechanic that reduces healing effectiveness)

It also takes place outside of shelter instead of first. Ulpi gets hit with 600 physical damage, it's reduced to 420 via gladiia mod and then negated at half hp + his mod. Normal 420 defense would reduce the hit to 180 and then shelter would bring it down to 126 damage. His 420 heal is basically 600 normal defense with gladiia deployed. Better if you account for low physical damage

When people talk about how expensive it is to raise a whole AH squad just to support Ulpianus, but you already have all the AH squad raised because you are an AH player: When people are afraid of using 2 slots for Ulpianus, because they may need to bring Gladiia, but Gladiia is actually a really good laneholder/cc in her own right:

True lmao, he alone is a monster and with Gladiia he's a boss, let alone with full AH squad. The only thing I don't like about him is that his own skill 3 remove all the stack of his second talent if I remember its right. Like, Im okay with the fact its remove buff when it can also remove debuff (losing something like a buff from skill (Aak and Waffarin) is acceptable), but then what the point of that talent when you stack its but then immediately remove its when you use skill 3? Should make those stack remain even if he is retreated, but well, maybe that an edge of S2 over S3.

I have most AH units raised, but I would still use him without them only because he still is insanely strong, easily one of the best units in the game that can become even better with just a little bit of help. Also, important thing to note (imo you should've focused on that a little as well) is that his mod trait also makes him much more easier to use with medics, so even if you don't want to invest in AH squad just bring a medic lmao, that's one thing that makes him really good laneholder as well

Dont know who want to whining about the resources you need to invest into those AH "bad module". Like when you invest into that, you are not only improve Ulpi, you improve the whole squad. Yeah yeah, I know AH except Ulpi and Gladiia is not good operator when stand alone (can even say Skadi and Specter alter are lowest of low with they team buff module), but they team buff make then relevant again when 3/6 buff are on team other on deployed buff are with Gladiia and Ulpi whose good enough for you to deploy them first (base Specter are a good lane holder too if you ask me cause she have her own self regen and can immediately have 50% HP buff, 22% atk, 20 attack speed buff while can block 3 and attack all enemies). The only weakness of this team is that don't have good ranged dmg (Gladiia and Andrea sometimes just not enough). Man, I wish we have a Vanguard AH operator.

AH operators canonically have dogshit originium arts assimilation due to their genetic modifications. Melee weapons usage is mainly done to prevent seaborns from adapting to their more tech-savvy weapons, that’s why they are limited to phys damage
