Yes I am 31 and I'd never date a women in her mid 50s with what 4 kid's and 3 X husband's. Most men my age 99% are the same if very attracted to her to be frank some would sleep with her. She needs to date 45-60 if she wants anything serious men at her stage in life.

I know people don’t like to admit this, and prefer to think of older guys with younger women. I'm going to be honest here, Ulrika is a woman in her mid-fifties with THREE failed marriages behind her (big 🚩) trying to hook up with men nearly half her age. The reality is she is simply not a suitable choice, physically and mentally, for a man in his prime looking to set up a long term relationship or a family, especially when there are much more suitable options available. This is life, everything has a time and place and that time in Ulrika's life has passed. Either she accepts going for men closer to her own age or she accepts remaining single and find something else to fulfill her life.

Some awful advice there from Ulrika's friend. Women never tell each other the truth about their dating prospects. Ulrika is a very old looking 54 year old and her days of getting a guy from a hunky fireman calendar are long gone. What was the bad advice? She didn’t tell her what age of man to date or what to do. She simply told her that the right man is out there for her and not to settle for something that doesn’t feel right out of loneliness or fear. For all we know she could have indirectly been implying that a younger man isn’t right for her because he’s immature and she deserves more than frivolous and casual relationships. She kept her cards close to her chest and focussed on supporting her and being present. Seems like a good friend.

It's tough I really feel for her, but she didn't do anything to help herself they were incompatible from the start and she should have seen this coming. They wanted different things, it was always going to lead to this and to save investment emotionally, time-wise, and energetically this could have and should have been seen in the first 10 minutes on the first date. Ulrika is going to continue to get her heart slightly sore by dating people she has no alignment with, I don't blame Ulrika I blame the agency. I don’t mean this badly, but these older women using the term ‘cougar’ and then getting into relationships with much younger men, is just selfish. They want kids, young sex, and to have their time. Let them. My sister persuaded a much younger man to be with her by buying a house for them both to live in. He moved in, never married her and had a much younger girlfriend behind her back.
