Ulsan Grand Park, located in Namgu Ok-dong, is an ecotype city park with multiple attractions. The park offers huge swimming pool, a theme park, an outdoor concert area, multipurpose sports field and more. The outdoor theme park offers 4 different size ponds, a walking trail, playgrounds, outdoor concert hall, squares, multipurpose sports field and picnic areas. Also near the South gate, you can find a butterfly field, rose garden, and a small zoo.

Metasequoia, or dawn redwood, is a genus of fast-growing coniferous trees, one of three species of conifers known as redwoods. The living species Metasequoia glyptostroboides is native to Lichuan county in Hubei province, China. Although the shortest of the redwoods, it grows to at least 165 feet in height. meta·​se·​quoia ˌme-tə-si-ˈkwȯi-ə : any of a genus (Metasequoia) of deciduous coniferous trees of the bald cypress family comprising one extant and various fossil forms having leaves, buds, and branches arranged oppositely and flat leaves resembling needles.
