Orange men defenders of the realm? UDR defenders of the realm? Do you know how many Orange men were convicted during the conflict for loyalist attacks on nationalists? Do you know how many UDR men were convicted for their roles in murderous attacks on innocent Catholics. The name of your offering is incorrect. Ulster is not Northern Ireland and Northern Ireland is not Ulster. Ulster is one of the four Provinces on the island of Ireland. The Province of Ulster consists of 9 counties - 6 in Northern Ireland and 3 in the Republic. So to call these men the defenders of Ulster is an insult to the people in the 3 counties in the Republic of Ireland who never supported these unionist/loyslist organisations. This is what happens when an Englishman thinks he knows more about Ireland than people who actually live on the island.
