Basically, the song is still lost. The original 1986 mix still hasn't been found apart from it's use in the adult film. All of these "remasters" sound like dog shit, but the source material is so bad that I don't think it's savable no matter who does it. I'm sure what we all want is a clean copy of the 1986 mix with no weird instrument replacements or vocal compression. The master tape/original recording is what we're after. The 2024 remake is the same song sure, but it's lost it's charm, as is the case with most remakes.

@@WiredGT I think most peoples complaints are with the vocal, apparently the instrument tracks were found but not the vocal, and that's why the 2024 release sounds "not as good" regarding the vocal
