Thank you so much for doing this video. Everyone else seemed to find a way to dodge taking the motor apart, but I could not get to first base like that--trying to thread it through, etc. So I finally bit the bullet and used your video to help me get through it! Could not have done it without it! So thanks again, brother for a great video. You sure helped an old man get through it!

I'm sorry I couldn't have someone hold the camera. But I figured I'd tape it cause I also couldn't find one to help me lol. I went out on a wimb and tested my luck with it.

My belt just came off. So the belt isn't broken? How can you tell if my belt just slipped off or if its broken? I looked at your new belt and the belt isn't round like a car belt. How does the other end goes? How does it lock it in place. I wonder if my belt just slipped off or i have to replace it. Is fairly new.

@warrenlee3472 up in the head is where it connects. That's the best way to see what's going on. Pry the easiest part to connect. It's been a little bit since I've seen one. I upgraded years ago to a force, but I'll try to help the best I can

Could you epoxy the new belt to the old belt and run it through the trim module?

You can try it. But you only have one chance on running it through. I did that method the first time and found it was a lot easier doing it this way.

Damn! I did not know where the spring went when putting it back together. It seems to work perfect without it. Do you know if it is absolutely necessary??

It wouldn't even operate on my end without it. But if you got it to work full send it.

Not sure why youtube doesn't notify me of comments. Sorry it took this long for a reply
