You have to use the Cosmetic version and not the new species one.

Cosmetic Variation usually has the animations working fine, the problem is only with "New Species" mod.

He's not the one who made the mod. This Ultimasaurus is made by a mod maker called ViraLCyclopes. I agree with you though. I use this mod as well and the back and claws definitely need better texturing. Most of the Ultimasaurus' other skins look fine when it comes to the back, but the claws look terrible on every skin.
