I have the Hays, spark, and Aofu and would like to share my opinion too. Hays: Personal favourite, very nice shades, turning feels very light, fast, flexible and smooth, pops are minimal and I really like the feel. Spark: Most popular, and it comes in at a close second for me, I simply find mine a little sluggish, the size too small, and the magnets too strong for me personally. Also I find it doesn't flex as much as the hays and pops slightly more which is annoying. Although it is technically lighter than the hays, the turn feels heavier for me, which I'm assuming is because of the strong magnets. That being said, it has a very unique and smooth feel. Still a great puzzle besides my personal criticism. Aofu: feels amazing when turning slowly and glides like butter. It is more heavy than the others and has a really hard blocky feel. Although it is still a good 7x7 and some people love it, I get noticeably slower times than the hays or spark because it does not feel fluid. Corner cutting is limited and takes force, and overall not for me. As for the others, I have not tried the MGC but it looks good and the price is great. The other YJ budget 7x7 I've tried feels similar to the Aufo, but very good for the price. The ylm 7x7 I've tried seemed similar to the hays, but less flexibility and the one I tried was quite slow. Gunjan Shah tbh I recommend buying the qiyi ms 5x5. Or if you want one under 10 dollars then buy the meilong 5m and use a discount code.

The Hays is the oldest, the strongest (doesn’t pops) and, in my opinion, the perfect balance between speed and stability. My PB is 4.30 mins so I’m not the best at all but I think the Hays is in second place on this top ! Great video as always !!!

Hi Tingman, thank you for sharing your feedback on 7X7. I have the YJ Yufu V2 M and for me it performs pretty well (I am more of a budget cuber so I haven’t bought the more expensive cubes yet.) I am also a big YJ fan so I really enjoy their cubes. Even though this is kind of late, so much for sharing your faith on KZbin in your 60K livestream. That takes a lot of courage and that is a great way to share our Savior’s love. I was going to wait for MGC but I got impatient and bought a Yufu. It is my first and only 7x7 so far, and I honestly can't imagine anything better. It could be a bit smaller, but otherwise it is great, and I can't find any deficiencies at my (very modest) level. I have an MGC 6x6 and I can't say it's head over the Yufu. Oh, and the Yu series colors are perfect. I'm really curious about the differences between MGC and Yufu besides colors and size. Oh, and I was hoping that MGC would be as small as the Spark or even smaller, but alas...

I’m still waiting for an MGC Square 1, Skewb, Pyraminx. But also I’m hoping for a magnetic 8x8 and kilominx. MGC 8x8 and MGC Kilominx? Still, YJ has been amazing! No wonder their cubes feel similar to MoYu cubes. Great comparison for 7x7’s. Haven’t seen that many.

I only have one 7x7, and it's the only one I've ever tried - the YJ Yufu V2 M. I think it's definitely the best for its *price* - everything else is more expensive than it.

I’m quite new to cubing so my goal is correct solve over speed right now. The biggest I tried (and failed close to the finish line) was a non-magnetic Megaminx. I wonder - I own just an 3x3 with magnets at this point - don’t the magnets add to the weight quite significantly on the bigger cubes? I mean - they have to have more inside of them right?

Yes magnets add weight but the difference they make in terms of accurate turning is 100% worth it!

I’m new to cubbing and I’m getting really confused. I can buy puzzles from the same brand and they feel completely different especially in the material that you’re touching. I just got the YJ 7x7 and I can’t put it down. I am addicted to the feel of the cube material. It’s slick but not slippery, firm without feeling heavy, highly polished and smooth almost like ivory. Help how do I find more cubes of this same amazing tactile material??

Awesome! Thanks for the review! My first ever 7x7 was many years ago. The Pillowed V Cube. Remember those???? Haha. Earlier this year I got the YJ Yufu and I love it. I also bought all the other MGC cubes at that time too. Now that the MGC 7 has been released I was wondering if I should upgrade from my Yufu? I have the MGC Elite 2x2, and the MGC 4x4-6x6, and the 5 and 6 both feel similar, while the 4 and 2 feel more snappy (and also have a darker green stickerless shade). Do you think the MGC 7 feels more like the 5 and 6, or the 4?

It's good cube but many caps are very loose. Be ready to buy super glue with it and glue them permanently. Those caps are on second outer layer (without corners)
