How do you export multiple audio tracks of an Avid Media Composer video and audio edit so that I can import them into samplitude? What are the export settings on Avid Media Composer and the setup and import procedure on Samplitude?

I don't own Avid. I'm sure you can find a KZbinr that uses it. I don't know if Samplitude has a way to import it directly.. If anybody wants to share an Avid project (via google drive or others), contact me through my website mprimeau.com and I'll make some tests.. Other than that, I'm sure Avid has tools to export stems or seperate tracks to files. The only critical aspect is to make sure they all start at the same time.

This is much too important a demostration to not do it over again, and be more clear. This is too much 'off the top of your head' and a bit sloppy, and doesn't answer other questions about group takes and other aspects.....CAN YOU TRY AGAIN....let's call this a good, but incomplete, start.

This is aimed at beginners and I'm trying to keep the video short.. too many people won't click if it's 15min and more.. But you're right I could do another one that goes deeper.. What other questions would you like to be answered ?

I think this tutorial is great for getting started. You should work out the additional functions a little yourself. Also you can ask - he wrote. I am grateful that someone shares his knowledge for free. Thank you!

I really like the offerings Marco puts out, and thank you MARCO!! but here, he's just a bit sloppy (two take twos, for example) I really DO like, Marco, you highlighting the "disappearing" take options... (top take being shorter than underlying)... I've used Samplitude for MANY years and I'm expert in some aspects, and in others, there are just too many such obscure, head scratching oddities...and "disappearing takes" would be one such, even if it "makes sense" on one level, it's not exactly obvious, Again, thanks, and Magix might do well to program in gray'd-out takes if those would be LONGER -- in the underlying take options -- IOW ALWAYS show ALL possible takes, even the ones that you'd need to adjust the top object/take to make available - which would be gray'd out text, or something along those lines. So, the questions: How do takes and revolver tracks intersect? What are the best ways of operating inside the take composer window? Is the take composer ultimately very efficient? If used how? What are the strengths of alternate modes? What are the other sort of "watch out for"s inside the take composer environement? Include some TIPS and TRICKS. Does take composer work for multiple tracks? What has changed in the take composer over the last several versions of Samplitude. Any major advances?

@@MarcoPrimeau well, the "disappearing takes" was WORTH THE PRICE OF ADMISSION, I must say, cause I could NEVER figure that out, i.e., where the hell are my takes??
