Hoon I have learn so much on your channel, I appreciate that you have keep up with the breville Machine I could have upgraded to a Dual Boiler, my Wife would have not talked to me for few months but the Pro works for me, I really like it's fucntions and since I've started using my Eureka Mignon grinder vs built in grinder it's open up a new world for me but in the end it's about good fresh roasted coffee, thanks Hoon :)

Hey Hoon, is the BBP good for light roasts? The Bambino Plus temp can't be changed so can't deal with light roasts. Would the Dual Boiler be better option for it?

I just got my machine and noticed it's somewhat hard twisting the portafilter on & off. Is that normal? I notice yours goes on with ease. It goes on with ease without the basket. I have to hold on to the machine because it moves it when trying to lock it in. It's the same with the spouted and bottomless portafilters.

@joyjackson7481 it loosens up over time. The first use is always hard. Once the portafilter heats up, it gets easier.

Hi. My hubby likes a 12 ounce coffee. Can I get this using the barista pro? I mean not latte etc… I know americano is 1:1 ratio, but I just want to know if I can get there from here. He usually brews 12 oz in our keurig but we want to try our hand at espresso. Will I still need to just do a French press or drip for him or can I make him a big coffee using the pro?

You can "get there from here", with espresso in the Pro model, it can handle that, easily. The amount of caffeine in TWO DOUBLE shots of espresso are about the same as 12 oz. of coffee. So make 2 double shots of espresso and add enough water for 12 oz. coffee, and that should be it! Happy espresso-ing!

I I have a question? is it better to get the wrist the pro with the grinder or is it better to get one without the grinder. I've been looking at both I'm also looking at the dual boiler I've seen some bad reviews about it I was wondering if I could get your opinion on rather which would be better or possibly better thank you

Did you know the new Impress has lower bars of pressure than the Pro for better coffee extraction. It produces a better tasting shot than the pro if you pre/heat the Impress for 30min before using it and leave the portafilter on so it also passively heats up along with the group head and shower screen.

Hello! I got the barista pro about 2 months ago and last might when I was steaming the steam wand just stopped on me. When I checked it then I noticed I only have steam coming out of 1-3 holes, not all 4. Is this normal for the steam holes and it's been doing this since I got it I just never looked at it to know? I also feel like it loses steam power while it steaming. It's cleaned and descaled so it's not that

you should contact Breville customer service. They will provide free fixing for you if it's still in warranty.
