Hey Ross, if the market makers are hunting your stop loss, why don't you just get them to hunt your stop and bring the price down over and over again, I wonder how low they will go over and over again just to hit your stop... You should just have a huge short position (through another broker), and then have the market maker chase your stops, over and over again, then after they keep going lower and lower, chasing stop after stop, you get the price low enough to cover your huge short position you created in your other account

Great video, Ross! One thing that I struggle with is determining if a chart is 'too extended'. For example, during your morning show, I may see a stock starting to form a nice 1 minute pattern but then you mention that the 5 min chart is 'too extended'. What is your definition of 'too extended'? Do you base it off the 9ma, 20ma, vwap, or all? If you see a nice pattern forming, would you hesitate to take the trade if you believe it's too extended?
@DaytradeWarrior2 жыл бұрын
Hey Brad, it is typically a combination of a few factors. There is no one indicator that Ross uses. A good rule of thumb that Ross uses is to focus on the first 2-3 breakout setups, after that the likelihood of the breakout working is lower.
@kristen75782 жыл бұрын
When the stock becomes too extended you will start noticing that the pullbacks are not as deep as they become shallower and choppier when nearing a reversal. I recommend using the 4+ the 8ema (5min.) , wait for the stock to close below the 8 or you could wait for the crossover. Once the 8 crosses over the 4ema, its usually a good indication of a pull back. If you look for shallower dips and watch those moving averages-both should help you gauge if ready to pullback/reverse. Those are my favs. Im just trying to give back ;) I hope it helps!

Hey Logan, Thank you! As you know the United States has what's called the Pattern Day Trader (PDT) Rule. That means you need a minimum of $25,000 cash balance in your broker account in order to day trade more than 3x in a 5 day period. Since most traders take 3-5 trades per day, they are considered Pattern Day Traders. You can see some examples and in-depth explanation here: www.warriortrading.com/pattern-day-trader-rule/ and here kzbin.info/www/bejne/eXWzqXd5gq2AZ5I Many of our new students don't have $25k. You can open a brokerage with as little as $500 at some places. Offshore brokerage CME Group is one of these brokers. TradeZero (non-U.S. students only, not eligible for Canadian students) requires a minimum of $1,000 to qualify for our rebate program ( www.warriortrading.com/tradezero-broker-rebate-program/ ) and Lightspeed requires $25,000 ( www.warriortrading.com/lightspeed-broker-rebate-program/ ). And of course, you have the option of a cash account at a US brokerage! Here's a helpful place to go to explore your options further: www.warriortrading.com/how-to-day-trade-without-25k/ I hope that makes more sense!

Awesome content, Ross. Thanks for sharing! Regarding what you called out @ 1:14:40 on observing a lot of 'red' on the Time and Sales as green candles were forming and the price moving higher. Have you gained any further insight into the cause of the behavior and how to interpret it while trading?

Do you think that it i fine for people to trade at the 5 minute chart level? It seems that the 1 minute was a bit too fast for me, but the 5 minute had also some nice patterns. I guess that keeping an eye on the 1 minute to make sure that you identify momentum change is good, even if yo udo not intent to buy and sell within the second.

1 min, 5 min, 15 min, hour and daily as well as anytime frame inbetween is good focus on patterns and identifying them and trade good quality setups if 1 minute is too fast and 5 minutes is too long possible trade on 2-3 minute candles trade using a simulator or paper money and see how you do trading on slightly longer time frames what Ross is doing is very advanced scalping or sniper trading so I would focus on slower time frames and possibly build up to where Ross is with experience and intuition you can get there

Appreciate what you do! I look forward to joining you after a few plays pan out! I’m curious, I only have limited day trades so it is what it is but I was thinking maybe you can give a tutorial of how to pregame research, I feel charts have been pretty beneficial in forecasting price moves a day or so in advance along with news but mostly I chart, financials, then check news and if it doesn’t it typically spikes not long after. Up 1600% the last month no gme amc ffie or any of that unfortunately just all natural no judgements to any get your money lol

I enjoy your lectures. What do you think about the possible swing trade building up for USDJPY? Currently USDJPY is 200 pips away from creating a weekly triple top.

Other than the green on the tape of the WAFU trade at 52:39 was there anything else on the level 2 that triggered your entry that you did not mention in the video. Please be overly specific. Details details details. Thank you

Hi, Ross! Thank you for this amazing training! 🙏 A quick question: do you most often buy and sell on the 'ask'? Is this your preferred way of trading? Very curious :)
