205 might be better than 025. I didn’t do any in depth testing but put in one what other people said (I haven’t used this tower since its buff). I will do some real expert chimps gameplay with cin and compare.

Important note: It is, but only on SINGLE ENTRANCE maps. On maps with multiple entrances, 025 is still better because you need the attack speed to hit both lanes

Actually, Gwen buffs its attack speed. You can pick midgame carry based on your hero: Gwen or Jones, with Phoenix and recursive respectively. Blooncin is great supporting fire (heheh) but it really enables other towers. With Jones, take your bombs to handle groups and weakened moabs, and for Gwen, phoenix and ring of fire are alright comparisons, but you will want some slowing for both; a glue strike or ice storm fits the bill pretty nicely, or if you have gwen, grab blooncin, phoenix, 9 shinobis + a sabo, and a Master Bomber. You have slows built into that strat, since shinobis get a bloon slow after a single upgrade.

The striker buffs are better than Gwen but if you are using Gwen for the purpose of using Gwen adding cin into the mix is a pretty cool idea.

They both give +20% attack speed. Between Striker’s +25% pierce and black bloon popping vs Gwen’s +20% radius and heat it up, is Striker’s bonus really that much better? Heat it up damage bonus seems like it’d be huge on firewalls.

@taskmage42 striker can also stun a big clump of zomgs and bfbs on a buildup of firewalls though, that will basically get a free kill on that later

Striker Lv20 doubles its dmg and pierce, which is great burst support especially for 205 cin. That being said​, 025 might benefit more from Gwen due to additive dmg instead of multiplicative. @taskmage42

isnt it worth getting embrit if you’re going 0-2-5? the WoFs it leaves behind constantly deal 1 damage which stacks really well with damage buffs

204 shattering damage is pretty good tbh, not something you rely on but for like some challenges its kinda fun

Doesnt the 205 have more base DPS, the 025 has more DPS when buffed with alchemist and overclock. It feels silly to just say “youll always want the 025” at the beginning… If i get blooncineration in CHIMPS, I very rarely try and buff it like that, its strong enough as 205 that i just get strong cleanup towers with it.

I’m going to do more tests with cin crosspath in the future. However, onto the other point where you wouldn’t want to alch buff and overclock a damage tower is extremely incorrect.

You absolutely need alch buff on Cin Overclock on the other hand isn't really needed Even with alch buff, 205 is better on single entrance maps, 025 is just for multiple entrances because of the extra attack speed needed to hit all the entrances You can also get away with not buying extra cleanup towers by just using Artillery Battery for the midgame, since the ability serves as cleanup in the lategame

i prefer the 205 crosspath, the decamo range is big enough to decamo all bloons, if in a good spot of course, else it's a strong tower
