On the topic of chess, I recently discovered suicide chess. I don't know if there's standard rules or anything, since I just learned it from a friend, but it's an alternate ruleset that's super fun. Every time you take a piece, you can then take another piece, and repeat until you either get the king in check, or can't take any more pieces. You also have to take a piece if you are able to. It sounds like it would end very quickly, since the queen can decimate entire rows, but somehow even when you lose half your pieces in the first few turns, it becomes a completely new strategic game and you have to think even more about your pieces - losing a pawn may not be so bad, but if that pawn would then let your rook be taken, you may have to sacrifice a knight to move it.

@@wh3elson I touched on that in the comment, since you have to stop when you get the king in check, they can only take a certain amount of pieces, then you can take their queen. You also can't do it on the first turn, since the pawns are in the way, and moving them gives the other player a brief chance to separate some key pieces.

It's called Anti Chess, and you're forced to take a piece if able. losing the king doesn't end the game and it can be taken like a normal piece, the actual goal of the game is to lose all of your pieces first. The strategy is in purposefully leaving yourself open and forcing the opponent to take many of your pieces in a row.

at its basic level chess is easy to understand. Each piece has a specific pattern they can move and a specific pattern they can capture opponent pieces...then it gets very complicated when you get into the different strategies and methods of play. Ultimately it's a game that anyone can learn but few can master because it requires you to think several moves in advance all while anticipating your opponent's moves.

Take turns. tinyboyes move 1 square forward but kill diagonally and do 2 the first time because that how they be. castles move in straight lines, big ol pointyboyes move in straight lines but diagonally. Horses do some weird-ass L and jump other pieces because they're entitled bitches. Queenie with a peenie is just a castle and pointyboye in a trenchcoat and they're both doing the walking. The king sucks and can only stab people with his pencil shiv when they come into his safety perimeter, and if he gets threatened you gotta help him before anyone else because he's just that kind of asshole. Also if he dies or loses his support network you lose. Kill people by stomping them out and walking on them until they die, which is easy because their spines are like paper. @@cerebrallag4441 The thing is if Dan had moved his dark square bishop to C4 Arin would have one turn to respond before a major forced trading session would have taken place. Let's say Arin moved his B1 pawn up a space to threaten Dan's bishop, that would lead to queen takes bishop E2 and check, Arin's only move is queen takes queen, (since Dan's queen is protected by his bishop) at which point Dan takes Arin's queen with the C4 Bishop, leaving Arin to make the choice of loosing either his F3 knight to Dan's E2 bishop, or loosing his rook to Dan's A1 knight. Overall Dan would have gotten a dark square bishop, a queen, and either a knight or a rook all for the cost of his own queen, and his bishop from a pawn capture, or maybe his knight if he took the rook-since it's defended by Arin's G5 light square bishop, if Arin noticed the move. Then again, Dan could just not be up for trading peaces if he like's playing with a more populated bored.

You take turns moving pieces (white goes first). The board is always set up as you saw on the video before they began to move pieces. Each piece has rules regarding how they can move (for example, pawns move straight ahead, can move two spaces as their first move only, and attack ONLY diagonally, not directly ahead). It's really best to look up the specifics yourself, either a video or a rule set should be fine, because there's too much to fill a comment section with. The nice thing about chess is that, as long as you can approximate the pieces, you can play basically anywhere. My brother and I once made paper pieces with tape on the bottom to play on a road trip.

Pawns: Moves 1 or 2 squares first move, but the rest of the move they can only move one square vertically. They can capture only Diagonally. Rook: Only moves Vertically and Horizontally at any squares. Can't pass over if blocked it's path by it's own teammate. Horse/Knight: 2 Vertical space and 1 Horizontal space. (Or 1 Vertical space and 2 Horizontal space). Can jump over pieces. Bishops: Can move spaces Diagonally at any squares. Queen: VERTICALLY, HORIZONTALLY, DIAGONALLY, I CAN DO ANYTHING King: Same as the queen, but moves one space at a time. Protect the King at all Cost.

As a Canadian that likes punching things, I think Bear Hugger's waited long enough (So here's the trick) -His new attacks are just more of his old attacks but with a longer delay, and he can fake a hug (punch him in the face when this happens to get a star) -All of his attacks in both Contender and Title defense can be interrupted at the right time for a star -Dodging his attack and attacking afterward will stun him. However this will only allow one free punch. -If you use a triple-star punch as your free punch while he's stunned, it's an instant knockdown, 3 of these win

What move should Arin make here? I'm thinking the correct move is to move his black bishop near Danny's white bishop. It puts the King in check, so it restricts Danny's response, and Danny's best move is probably to block with his pawn. From there, Arin has several options to further develop his rooks onto the board while threatening Danny's pieces.

Arin should move his Knight at F3 to D4, right in front of Dan's queen to block it. The way he has it set up makes it so that whatever piece captures the Knight, the Rook captures in turn. He could also move his knight just in front of his queen, to better block both the queen and the king.

En passant is definitely to stop people being sneaky haha It's when your pawn hasn't moved yet, and if it moves one space it would be killed by another pawn, but if you move two spaces you'll avoid it, so you still die. Basically it doesn't let you weasel your pawn out from an attack
