Ultimate Budget Miata Turbo Build | High Quality Boost Build

Today I take a deep dive into my turbo setup for the Eunos Roadster! Similar setups can be had for under $2900 usd. Any questions, please ask in the comments. Also, HippieCarGuy has agreed to race his E85 Nismo R33 GTR against this Miata on larger injectors if this video gets 500 likes, so please like the video. If it gets 1000 likes, I will rent a close course to race it against my C6! The current injectors are maxed out at 100% duty cycle when on full boost (16-19 psi), so if you go this route turn the boost down to keep them under 80% (7-10psi).

Hi! Thank you for your kind compliment. This kit has been amazing. Truly. I did not add, but this kit can also bolt to your factory exhaust, or get really close to doing so. That way the car is not too loud and you don't have to deal with the drone and smells of hood exit exhaust. As mentioned in the video, the only thing I would change if I could go back would be the Wideband [The psb-1 just is not that good], the oil feed line and tee [the supplied one feels cheap and cross threads easily] the oil return fitting feels like it should be larger, and ensure you order a new manifold gasket from Moss Miata and a metal T3 gasket. There are cheaper options, but I think this is the best you can get for under 3500 and its really really great.

I just bought a new speeduino standalone ecu. $160.00 a guy in Spain makes them. It looks like good quality. can't wait to get a turbo. Going to the junk yard to look for a gredy from cars that already have turbos from the factory. Then I can piece everything else. Best of luck. My miata will be my daily driver for a while.

I can't stress enough to not use their ECU's unless you absolutely have to, but their accessories are amazing!

@@ioriOki I love there ecu ... easy to use way more stuff /features than most ppl use and more support than any other company I have dealt with ( I talk to Chris Cashion almost daily ) I been with them going on 2 years now and never had a problem but I also got there updated board after alotta the kinks were worked out ... peace n love fam keep it rad n stay safe

if you can get your hands on a holset hy or hx35 (you can normally find them for $250) it should be a ton better than the cx turbo js

@@ioriOki I had a full exhaust, built it from auto parts store pieces for under $100 (it was $98 lmfao) it’s sitting in my garage right now. Same one I used when I was drop it to laguna seca. I just like hater pipes 🤣 cause I wanna see my 🔥 and it let me run a much bigger exhaust without having to squeeze it all in there and make that really abrupt bend off the turbo. Always bothered me because I know it’s choking the turbos ability to flow properly.

The Yen rate at the time, I ended up paying about $800 usd for it. It was a single owner trade in, but did have rust damage. For the importing price, I don't remember, but I did make a full video breakdown of the price.
