Original Transmorpher has around 7.3% less shield than 4 Star Stun W-Engines. Still, a small difference overall and no changes to any of the rankings. Caesar's shield was changed from 90 seconds on the Media Server to 60 seconds on Live. Not a big deal in practice.

The impact on the original transmorfer doesn't apply to the shield because the shield scales with BASE impact and the original transmorfer is a buff so if what you want is more shield and don't have the signature, stun engines are the go to's for the moment

Caesar is Defense. So Vortex being Stun W-Engine will not work because they can not be triggered. Same goes with every other standard obtainable W-Engines you listed.

Thank you for the guide, it was incredibly helpful as always! I pulled for her this morning, and Caesar is super broken. She really reminded me of Zhongli in Genshin Impact, because her shield is so strong, it turns the game into easy mode. I've got her at M1R1, and that first Mindscape makes a huge difference. As soon as she enters the field, she automatically creates a shield, which means you start every fight with a 3k+ renewable barrier. But that's not all! She also gives a damage buff, as well as 1k Attack power buff to the team. So Caesar is more like the best parts of Zhongli and Bennett combined into one super OP character. I can't recommend her more highly. Caesar is the first "must have" character in ZZZ.

Managed to save 140 pulls for Caesar, manage to get Caesar in 60. Also managed to get TWO Tusk of Fury (Her W-Engine) in 40 pulls. I now have 40 extra pulls left to save for Burnice!!!!!!! Thanks for this informative guide.

I'd keep them two tusks seperate as you might want a defense (+stun) unit on both sides of shiyu. Also grats, i got lucky too for once and she feels an awesome addition

Prydwen, my go to website for ZZZ guides, states that her shield is only scaled off of base impact. The original transmorpher gives combat impact. So it seems like if you don't have her signature W engine, its better to give her an A rank stun w-engine with Impact% stat. Don't give her steam oven tho, it has energy % stat. Give her demara battery, or fossilized core, since those have impact % as their stats. And if you have any of the S rank w engines, they will be be better, although I wouldn't recommend you prioritize giving caesar the S rank w engine over the stun agents, since its only like a 3% impact difference. Give her the S rank if its free, but otherwise the A ranks will get the job done.

Hey! First of all wanted to say thank you for that helpful Video. Sadly the Reason why i came here isn't really addressed in here or i was not able to catch it. So i would be happy if you or someone else could answer my Question! :D I want to play Jane with Burnice and now im thinking about putting a Ceasar or an Lucy at ''support role'' behind them. The thing why im thinking about Caesar is that her Buffs seem so much stronger than the Buffs Lucy gives. She gives 1000 ATK, 25% DMG taken Debuff on the Enemy and also 18% more DMG done plus another nice 12% more daze production for the whole team from her lc when someone does a perfect dodge. BUT and that's why im here is that someone on Reddit say'ed something i didn't knew. Caesar's 1000 ATK Buff is only for the Character on field, my Jane will be on field most of the Time i think but would you say cause its only for the on field Character Lucy is better for just supporting reasons cause Lucy's attack buff is for the whole team and her signature lc gives even more ATK. I also compared Caesars lc with Lucy and for me Caesar looks so much stronger but maybe im wrong? I mean you could say that always when Burnice goes on field to apply her passiv on the enemy she also has the 1000 ATK buff but the moment i let her doe off field DMG she loses that Buff. I need to say that i only play this game for like 2 weeks and besides Jane doesn't have much character. I don't have Caesar nor Lucy neater. xD Also which Boo would you advice? Im thinking about using that Red Moccus cause his stats are looking so much stronger also him bringing the most far away enemy to you seems just so nice. I also don't get Anomaly Boo's that much, i saw an Video where the KZbinr told us that the Anomaly Trigger bar saves the DMG the Character does and if someone else break the bar but aren't the one who did the most DMG on the enemy, the anomaly break will be do much less DMG so why should i put a anomaly boo in the team when the anomaly boo not even buffs the Character, it only buffs the boo's chain attacks. But maybe i just don't get something important cause of my less play Time in this Game! Hopefully you see this, thanks in advance! :)

17:16 it'll be even better when we get Burnice, Jane Doe - Caesar - Burnice is going to be a crazy team. Also the Sons of Calydon Bangboo is pretty good, it has a high daze multiplier and provides grouping, so that's an upgrade to the team over Officer Cui.

in my testing, Caeser has been a great replacement for soukaku in my ellen team. Reason being: you get the same attack buff, but the on field time is reduced to less than a tenth of soukakus time, and she also provides anti-interrupt for ellen's charged attacks and combo finishers, meaning you don't ever have to redo them if you get hit while charging/channeling, so you have ellen's stacks up more reliably and your effective DPS goes up since you never have to stop hitting them. Faster stun time with double impact characters is also great because you get to have Lycaon's stun damage multiplier up more frequently. Alternatively, I've also tried soukaku, caeser, and ellen, since my ellen is pure crit+pen. Having a +2000 attack buff when you maximize all the stats that multiply your attack damage is extremely potent, and I've gotten up to 60k damage hits with the build without the enemy being stunned.

One thing that you forgot to talk about S11 is the interrupt resistance. S11 suffers A LOT with being interrupted during her combo and Caesar finally solves thid problem without needing t get her mindcaspe. Just the interrupted resistance alone is a gigantic buff for her and will increase her damage output A LOT

She's so fun and good. Stunning better than my Lycaon and buffing better than my Soukaku. And she even does some good dmg. Don't even get me started with the shield. That thing makes the game 100x better with characters like Jane, Soldier, Billy, Nekomata. No regrets of getting her and her wengine. 1000atk buff, 58% dmg increase debuff on enemies, crowd-control and absurdly broken shield. Absolutely the best character in the game so far

Not sure I understand the logic that getting 5 Original Transmorphers is somehow more f2p friendly than 1 A rank stun WEngine to level 60. I'm even able to do most of critical node in shiyu defense and even then getting 30 puzzle pieces takes a long time; and I don't think f2p guides should be assuming players can reliably clear shiyu defense in the first place. Personally I'll be saving my puzzle pieces for the main DPSes who benefit the most from them so my Ceasar will just have a 4* stun WEngine I think. Great guide though, you're doing great work with the calculations so everyone can make the most informed decisions for their account.

get puzzle pieces from doing the weekly bosses. i have like 30 puzzle pieces and ive never gone past like, stage four in the seasonal shiyue defense. it's like a 4% overall difference between rank 5 and rank 1 anyway.

She is SS top1 character easly. Buffs insane, can be in any team (pick any dps you like), add a stick lucy (for ceasar buff - or other support) and check results. She is OP at M0 - no need to even go for M1. Start the fight with her, do few attack + and switch (or add hold attack if her weapon). O P. Weapon is nice addition but not super needed.

Burnice without sig engine feels way worse compared to Caesar without engine . You have just built up this wall of pointless excuse to skip caesar . If you like burnice go get her but mental gymnastics to convince yourself of skipping and typing on internet is weird . Just say I want both and but I can only get one of them , then i would rather get burnice over caesar. It's that simple .

I was ready to use my 110 search signals and got an S-Rank in my first 30 pulls…. And it was a repeat Grace, which I plan to get rid of on my Jane team when Yanagi comes out. I luckily still got Ceasar with the rest of my pulls and now I have almost none. No Burnice for me….

I was sold on your video and decided to pull for Caesar for my M1 S11 M6 Lucy team, i was at 19 pulls to get S rank on featured banner, did a 10 pull but got Lycaon, i thought on quitting but decided to keep pulling...Got her literally in that 2nd 10 pull, then went to get her weapon since mind you i already had 22k polys saved at the start of the pulling session...Did 1 ten pull got 1 Anton, did another 10 pull and 3 FREAKING S RANK LOGOS APPEARED, I LEGIT SCREAMED! THEN ALL OF THEM WERE SIGNATURED WENGINE ONE AFTER THE OTHER. LETS FUCKING GOOOOO!!! at W3 it gives 27% dmg bonus and 18% more stun, broken as fuked. Liked and subscribed for that m8

I admit Zenless build is quite a total mystery for me because of mechanics I don't understand. For exemple here : Why is Impact favored on disk 6 in most of cases ? And why not an Anomaly mastery when mostly playing with Jane (in my case) ? And the same goes for 2pieces disk type and proxy Engines... But having just a few problems with Shiyu Defense, make me think, if not ultimates, a build of character is rather floppy than carved in stone. The problem is investing in unappropriate engines or disk sets... as I already did. ^^

She basically is a mix of Ben + Soukaku + Stunner. - Ben's parrying mechanic and shield - Soukaku's 1,000 atk buff - Her use of Impact as her shield means she can replace the stunner's role She is a buffer + debuffer + shielder + stunner???? Wow she is overtuned!! You can use her in any team because she has decent daze which means you're fine not using a stunner. She can replace the support because she literally does Soukaku's buff + debuff. And she does Ben's job better with her shielding. She's busted af!! That makes me wonder how they'll handle future characters. If Caesar is already overtuned like this, the only way they can market/sell a new defense agent is to make them stronger (hence the powercreep problem).
