Builds like this get even better if you can get your team to run pieces and talents that help you get a lil more DPS. For example the Coyotes mask gives teammates crits depending on distance. Maybe have someone run Vindictive on their primary weapon for more crits shared when killing status effected enemies. There's also chest talents that help the team. If you play with the same team often you could really dial in these supporting pieces and talents. That way the tank and healer builds have better DPS as well. Seems good on paper anyway. I don't play with the same people enough to put this group supporting concept together. I stashed all my Cavalier pieces on a 3rd character for some other time. Loving the new "tickle me Elmo" AR with dual companion builds, no time for cavalier.

the CAVALIER gearset have some problem, even they write said it reduce for all incoming damage, but it work like only reduce for skill damage. and I said it why not set like reduce 70%or 80%(with chest) incoming damage in PVE, 40%or 50%(with chest) in PVP. as for the glasscannon and bloodsucker in to exotic talent pool more like other nerf for player, because some player said it was too powerful after level up, but they ignore how much time to play that much level.

Agreed, so far the Chevalier isn't useful are a proper tank build because it doesn't have a place in the current game, even when I tested it with the technician hive and it still wasn't there. I felt it would be better as a healer build instead as you said, repair secondary and focus on that aspect more. Though again, since it isn't skill build it would mean the potential heal is a lot less. I also was able to do descent first day and ran with a random and was able to get and beat the nemesis, and got a lot of chevalier set items from that. But beyond that, it doesn't ring the same as the underground from Div1, maybe if they released the 6-set bonus as part of it where you'd have to roll that and then it'll allow you to bring that to the main game afterwards kind of like a little seasonal gameplay. That would be cool. Right now though? It's fun a couple times but most of the talents paired with low tier weapons? Doesn't work.

The set is obsolete kind of, because if its skill dmg only for the dmg reduction, its kind of useless because most enemies only shoot , even in pvp its rare to get kill by skills unless its maybe stinger hive.

I’m almost done with this game, I spent a ton of resources leveling it up to 15 before I went into the dz…..then found out the wording was wrong after getting slaughtered, pretty crappy

Yeah, every exotic gets added into the general loot pool once the season ends. You ain't just lucky yet :(

Yep, it’s in the loot pool so I’d recommend selecting backpack as targeted loot and running level 10 in the summit on heroic. Another option is run countdown with the same targeted loot and use your countdown credits to buy exotic caches. Same with the golden bullet, you can use your stars to buy exotic caches. You’ll get it to drop eventually. I had the same issue with the vile mask. I have basically every exotic in the game except ridgeways pride and the regulus but could just never get the vile to drop until earlier this week. It’s a grind but that’s the game I guess

Skill damage reduction, it works just fine, everything about it works. The description is just wrong as many other descriptions are. It’s a support build don’t build for damage.

What’s a decent level for expertise? I’m not crazy about max level this or max level that, but I would like to do good damage in the game. Any advice?

If it’s your go to weapon try and get it to at least 15 if you’re playing pvp. If it’s something you only use occasionally prob level 10 is sufficient

I knew something didn’t feel right with the armor. Damage from mobs felt just about the same. No reduction. Kind of like how the new exotic is misleading. You don’t accumulate points while having a clip a shock ammo despite it saying you get 1 per bullet hit on enemy.

Tries cavalier multiple times not even ag full hazard At all I used crit dmg but alot of random people and I mean alot say they feel less dmg I even felt less dmg in countdown I'm on psr 50 percent of time countdown does work just don't open the loot boxes people. But I've tested and idk if I'd use it UT people are noticing less damage so I'm told . Lol

The bug is a feature lol. It’s just incoming skill damage apparently, not all incoming damage

I’m taking a break from the division 2. It’s pretty boring after a while just doing the same crap over and over, basically farming just to donate material weapons and gear for expertise levels. I’m going to find a new game to play.

I’m just done with this game at this point, there are so many bugs even before the updates and then when the new updates come out they don’t fix the bugs they just introduce more items that are done poorly and even more bugs, they even spent a whole day after it was supposed to be released and didn’t even fix them, they even mess up a whole game mode (conflict) by making you unable to interact with anything and stopping you from gaining seasonal xp, I really hope heartland can learn from these mistakes but I don’t think they will because of how it’s already been delayed soo much to the point they aren’t even announcing it anymore. At this point this whole franchise is just becoming a joke.

This new gear set is obvioulsy trash, and I'm getting tired of content creators like kamikazevondoom who always release videos claiming that the new exotics and gear sets are OP, the developpers right now think that their stuff is working great while it's not and content creators are not helping them by pointing out this issue!
