So the normal placement against GY Freeze is on the inner side right next to the Princess Tower and either 1 or 2 tiles above it. If you wanna be safer that the Cannon will not focus on the tank that is coming to the tower, maybe Bowler, then use the lower one. But then you need to know that killing this tank has to be done in a different way. Most troops will also not focus on that cannon then but the tower instead. If you place it one tile higher, it's more likely that the tank will reach into the Cannon's range and it might refocus so then the Graveyard defense is more annoying, but you can be pretty sure that whatever troop is coming at the tower, it will focus on the Cannon. The other placement that I do sometimes against Graveyard is on the very edge of the bord, above the Princess tower with one row space between them. This is good if you really want to play the whole bridge-block game. That is more important against normal Splashyard because they don't have Freeze. So with this placement, you can block their tank at the bridge and the Cannon will attack it and get value this way. And the little extra is, if you block the bridge with an Ice Golem, your Cannon attacks their tank, and they go for Graveyard anyway, then instead of staying focused on the tank and not helping in the Graveyard defense, the Cannon will probably lose focus of the tank and attack the Graveyard because the Ice Golem will push their tank out of its range. But that doesn't always work.
