That’s basically my largest gripe with Cold War, all I ever do is spawn in with the Hauer and upgrade its rarity and PAP. My second slot is for the wonder weapon which you get guaranteed by the Easter egg. So I literally have no reason to spin the box, especially because the ray gun is now so rare and powerful I’ve literally never gotten it meaning also little reason to spin for the ray gun. And the point counter changes further makes shotguns OP because you don’t lose points. I do know basically every gun is viable but with the Hauer so strong and able to spawn in with it no reason to switch besides artificially pushing variety

Burn actually comes in useful when u have tier 5 quick revive, because it takes like 10 seconds to kill a zombie, you'll go down and then get back up because the zombie died afterwards, this has helped me out on multiple occasions

knife as secondary with shatter blast is one of my favorites. focus on using your primary weapon, then knife when you need the shatter blast proc. you don't even have to switch to the knife, you just have to melee. super useful for clearing a path or otherwise just buying yourself a ton of time if things are getting too close.

Brain Rot and Shatter Blast are good for secondaries because you need to time the use of it especially if you want to aim the effect on Elites or Specials. Napalm Burst is good for killing regular Zombies, while Cryofreeze is good for slowing down sprinter targets. Cryofreeze will at least guarantee you slow down hordes of Zombies and it does significantly more damage to Krasny Soldats. Deadwire is just well...let's just say you're better off only using it for extra damage on Megatons or stunning Special enemies in Outbreak.

Another thing to mention with Cryofreeze is that its great against Specials because it stops their attacks. Tempest won't teleport, Manglers won't shoot their cannons, and Mimics won't grab you, as well as making crits super easy to hit.

Tier 6 Jugg: Picking up armour replaces one full bar. Tier 6 Speed Cola: Increase reload speed to 50% and mokey bombs are thrown immediately. Tier 6 Quick Revive: Reviving a downed teammate will give both full armour and full field upgrade. Tier 6 Stamin-up: Increase speed to an added 15% and an added slide speed. Tier 6 Deadshot: Hitting a zombie 5 or more times in the chest will completely remove all it's armour. Tier 6 Tombstone: all bugs are fixed and stay alive longer when downed.

Also dead wire has a bug or not where if you get a zombie shocked with it it sometimes does the animation of getting shocked but its health doesnt go down :/ so dead wire is only used for the megatons if im honest

One thing to mention, if anyone is going for thr cammo challenges i found that napalm blast works the best, because of how quickly you can melt special zombies leaving only the main herd. It also doesn't break up the flow meaning when yiur going for those critical shots, you don't have to worry about zombies turning or falling to the ground ot just straight up stopping bc they got stunned.

When I used dead wire pre nerf I put it on a weapon that I never upgraded and almost exclusively killed with it. Now even the aoe damage that ticked on the affected zombies barely tickles them. It's just been reduced to stopping 3 zombies from touching you

I'm trying to get this concept out there, a BR lite style zombie mode in outbreak. 2 teams spawn on opposite sides of the map and have to loot and kill zombies to collect enough essence to activate an extraction beacon in a central location. Teams can spend there essence to bring back dead teammates. Perks an mods and stuff are looted, not purchased. If a team gets wiped, the come back as zombies for a second chance to stop the enemy team. Team wins by activating the beacon and defending it for a countdown. Alerts all players and zombies to attack.

This is great for maps like die machine and fire base z and such but when it comes to outbreak the important mods are the ones that kill the troubling boss zombies faster aka deadwire for the tanky megaton and cryo or shattering for the panzer or mangaler respectively. The mimics and tempests don't have a large enough health pool for me to justify other aats plus you don't need nearly as much hoard damage as you come across groups of 5-10 zombies at a time. I also play adaptive according to the final objective such as cryo/brain rot for the specimen protect one and similar or deadwire/shattering shells for the high value target. In my opinion the extra damage to specific elites is the deciding factor in outbreak.

Right I’ve totally noticed that mimics are a joke. Tempests can get super fucking annoying in outbreak with their snipe shots but they do at least have lowish health. Whats the point of mimics, they occasionally jump scare you but never catches me much off guard. I think they’re supposed to grab you but I never seem to get grabbed either so basically they just apply movement pressure because they chase you but it’s nbd

Brain rot is super good, but also super annoying. It has the highest tendency to accidentally kill the last zombie you wanted to keep alive in my experience. I also keep forgetting to get rid of it in the Mauer der Toten EE step with tempests, and it ruins that step if it turns a tempest for you, bc it doesnt count as a kill for your aerherium thingy.

I always put brainrot on my secondary unless its a melee weapon then it receives shatter blast. It's very useful if you go to get backed into a corner then one slice and boom path cleared.

I tend to use two weapons with Brain Rot (one of which is my starting sword), and whenever I get a third weapon (second gun) I put Inferno on it. With the way I play the game, the sword is better than the shovel for me🤷‍♂️. I don’t go to high rounds, I just like the greater reach. I feel that it’s easier to camp with the sword, but easier to train with the shovel.

Ballistic knife is top tier in outbreak with deadwire in the early rounds for points and cryo after you’re all set up. PAP ballistic knife can still revive team mates so if you combine with healing aura, you’re the ultimate medic and your team just survives forever.

I was on the 40's rounds on firebase z and I found Napalm Burst is OP against Elite enemies, as long as they're shot once with the fire, they're gonna die fast despite the health. I only discovered it because I'm doing the challenges for Ammo mod kills and I was like "huh that does a lot of damage to them" Might be my new favorite as I always use Shatter Blast for killing armored zombies mostly.

My favourite is shatter blast because the cluster bomb is so satisfying. Landing 1 shot across the map can still get you like 10 kills 😂 Brain rot is probably the best tho because theres so much special bosses and elites and the occasional 1 shot on them is super useful especially on outbreak or maurer/forsaken

I love to run shatter blast on a melee weapon. Definitely a really good crutch for if you get cornered or need a breather from training

Shatter blast is fuckin insane. It blows up an entire train with 1 bullet, they must’ve buffed it or something. Because I’m playing right now with shatter blast and I’m on round 45 on Mauer der toten and it’s blowing up entire hordes

i use ammo mods based on the gun i’m using, melee, dead wire. snipers, shatter blast. shotguns, napalm. smgs, assault rifles, and tac rifles, cryofreeze. launchers and special, brain rot.

With brain rot you can control those red zombies that run and explode (not sure if anyone said it but just say in) 😁 Also that red zombie just explodes like normal when dying but can hit more than one zombie per attack when brain rotted

For training, Brain Rot is the best for clearing a horde, assuming you’ve got the patience to let the turned do its thing and keeping it with the train. Manglers & mimics I find too slow for this so I’d go for regular zombies. For headshot challenges & outbreak, I’d go for Cryo Freeze, more damage is good to have. For specials, I prefer napalm over all else because its a quick problem solver, my preferred secondary.

Another thing about Dead Wire tier 5, when it was first nerfed it use to damage elites and special zombies for 75%+ damage which is probably why they nerfed it again. 😬

Sounds strange but when I use the Hauer 77 pack a punched & Explosion mod ( Shatter blast ) it becomes really OP because megatons, krasny soldats, elementals…. Die so easily with it, I used it till round 48 after that your own guns are bad and have to shoot with wonder weapons or M79 to get higher rounds

I always pick the two same mods: Cryofreeze for early game, so I can get that (+10 Killed Slowed Zombie) point bonus and rack up all points I need for everything I want; Brain Rot for late game, because its fucking fantastic at getting rid of Mimics and Manglers.

My biggest issue with dead wire was rooting zombies in place and making them unkillable. Id be running in a tight hallway and shoot the zed in front but get blocked by a shocked zombie so switched to brain rot then blast when it launched

I prefer shatter blast for my primary because I like how much armor it destroys and the ability to basically drop three grenades at activation. Brain rot it absolutely awesome as well. I need to upgrade my elemental pop to max ASAP!!
