Love the video, well worth the wait. For corrin she’s the silent MVP of a run together with lucina as they don’t shine like miciah with her warp utility or byleth game changer dance nor do they provide amazing comabt results like your ikes/lyns/eirikas. But both have the sheer consistent utility that helps the team throughout all situations. Corrin helps in helping your tanks survive longer by reducing the enemies they have to take per turn with her freeze. She buys time to either heal or kill enemies. Another thing that I think that is a bit overshadowed by Corrin’s overwhelming utility is her stats. She provides a wopping 15 hp and 3 res which allows your units to tank much better. Even your frail mages like hortensia or Celine as long as they don’t get doubled will survive a physical attack because of them having thicc hp. Corrin enables off tanks and generally allows them to tank mages especially thoron as they make you more magically bulky. Quick question Icedcoffe, I’m starting a royals only run for my 3rd maddening play through. Between Alcryst and Fogado in their cannon class which will leverage corrin better? Alcryst has the better dragon vein with fog as well as allows him to tank magical hits but Fogado leverages corrin buff to magic with both levin sword and radiant bow as well as having more consistent call combat due to him having higher speed. I know celine is the best as she’s mystical but she’s being built to use leif (as I am trying to make him work) -Thank you for reading

great that you can dance, contract, goddess dance, dance+contract AGAIN in one turn up to six actions in one turn on corrin with the right cantor setup can freeze like a whole map

It must be noted while mostly a utility emblem it also provides +15 HP allowing Timerra to tank more.

I think u should have talked a bit more about Veyle, cuz as dragon she has all veins and also poison + debuff + freeze is just insane, she can use thoron and is on the front lines most of the time so always quality time and she benefits from hp and mag

I’ve had success using Corrin engraving on Steel Dagger Merrin. The crit chance doesn’t get super high, but she doubles almost everything, so she usually gets one crit. It works for both player and enemy phase too.

A unit who can tank a small group or few enemies vs a main tank who can tank a ton of things

I’ve bonded shield avoid tanked with Veyle & Corrin and have avoided like 11 chain attacks bc of pair up and any regular attack wouldn’t hit her @ ALL

Question does momentum apply to both hits of celica’s echoes? Or is it better to run bravery for damage boost? I tries to do corrin’s draconic hex but the debuffs will only help boost the damage output of the second hit but it does allow the unit to double and hit more reliably

Mystical Units ignore the terrain avoid effects so kind of sucks to use fog vs them
