I just started playing this game 2 days ago, and any time I get near either of the Dorms, I make the widest possible loop around them because any time I've went near there. I get one tapped from somebody I never even saw. One time I actually managed to set foot inside 3rd floor, that lasted about 3 seconds.

The first time I ever went there it was 100% empty, untouched, tons of loot. Was like heck ya I found my new spot (before I knew ANY thing about the map.) Prolly tried going 4 or 5 more times never setting foot inside again. I now realize that's a death zone unless youre 1. Geared to the teeth. Or 2. Spawn super close and can get a good camp spot going before anyone else gets there. Lol

Gl in the game bro. Customs is a map where all players have/need to be. So all levels are running and looting the map. I can advise you if you need to be in dorms for a quest, try and wait a bit till the end of the raid (and make sure you've got time to extract after). Or try and get in with a friend or 2 (who are more geared) if you all die, its more likely that their gear will get looted and not yours Going into raid with 4 or even 5 guys is insane if you ask me. it is way to hectic and everybody talks while ya'll need to be silent so you can hear others... I'm far from good in the game, but I so like the thrill of getting some kills and extracting with a full backpack filled with, usually crap:p

@@Patsoor Large squads can be absolutely dominant if the players are attentive to the locations of their teammates and communicate efficiently. But yeah, if your teammates clog comms with inefficient callouts or talk about random stuff during the raid, even three players can feel worse than two.

@@darkracer1252 you need 3 of them found In Raid for a skier task and a Jaeger task, they are also used in the hideout on the intelligence center I believe, 3 = 1 intelligence folder I think, although you may want to fact check me on that. Besides that, they are used for two different quests and aren't super common. And if you're not on quests, they're around the 40k mark right now. Definitely not worthless.

The parcour, jumping on top of stuff to get those angles you're talking about... Thats not something for new players since you're wide in the open and visible for like everyone to get 1tapped.

you missed that in the gas station office on top can spawn lions, cats, horses, and lose money. Under the desk spawns the gas station storage key.

After watching this I did a practice run and then a scav n pmc run after. SURVIVED BOTH RUNS TOO! On the pmc run I even got a flash drive, ram stick, HDD, and a key! Watching this was beyond worth and I thank you for the information.

Something I always find underrated is the blue hut by big red. IF you're looking at the map. Just south of big red, still within the walls of the B.R. compound, there's a blue hut with a weapons crate, duffel bag, 2 jackets, and a filing cabinet. I'm constantly finding keys in there.

Draxx Them Sklounst pop one in the dome and you’re now highly geared. Can also work an angle and let the sweat dogs go at it then pop them when they go to loot bandage and bingo you’re a sweat dog now. I was doing a scav run trying to find all of the loot spots and a team of 3 came up on me. All around 30s I popped two in the dome then started looting. I kept hearing shots and figured it was the scavs by me. Nope it was a 3rd guy had cover did a peak 3 tapped him down also. I was by the far right corner extract just crouched walking around trying to find the cash lol. Ended up spending way to much time stacking bags and gear because they were all full.

Three things I would like to add, firstly dorms 214 key spawns in container 88 on the far side of some pallets, nice thing to know early if you dont want to be buying keys, also at sub station, near the key / med box spawn on the right side of the doorway as you look in ontop of that little control panel of sorts there is a spawn for an M4, lastly the 'Hobo Shack' just before the ramp jump towards Old Gas, has a key spawn on the right side of the bedroll, I know its another fairly cheap key, 220 if i can remember. Great guide though, learned a few cool things.

Had my best scav run of all time here. Had probably 2 mil in loot which is 5x more than I've earned so far. Hit the barbed wire at connector, got flashed, then got dropped. All in a matter of moments.

You can also jump from zb 012 to the other side, instead of crossing the fence gate, i think it requires a high strenght and a pistol/melle weapon in hand, but it is possible

Content is big... and you won't play it properly probably until another wipe... I have like 400 hours already and what i can share with you.... For know just try do some quest. Doing quest makes you level faster, so you get more rep to traders and access to better and sometimes cheaper equipment. Try some armor(pestily did good armor guide) and weapons... use modding tools check modifications and try to build some weapons -in game there is lots of attachments but you can build weapon online on pages like: www.eftdb.one Download ammo chart by Nomorefoodaftermidnight and learn to use always good (for budget run) and best ammo(for straight Pvp runs). Learn maps and stashes.. what was working for me I've learned pretty good shoreline map.. I am able to run through stashes during night without NVG..) Also don't hoard equipment (unless its for quest or needed upgrade for hideout), either sell it or use it. Also check stuff on Tarkov wiki.. there is looooots of stuff which you can trade for equipment, or is needed for quests. for example i have method that I make clear quick run to boost money for example to upgrade stash in hideout.. after that I'm doing some "dirty' runs.. take some weapon, ammo armor try to go to Resort dorms, factory whatever.. Some hot spot where fight is inevitable. Point? You get skill points for weapons use, endurance, Vitality and stress resistance.. Vitality and stress resistance are very important as you get less suppressed over time when enemy is spraying at you, and with higher vitality you get bonus to avoid bleeding.. which is so far not so hard debuff (if its not multiple bleeding.), but soon I've heard bleeding will be extended for types (currently work in progress). In my early hours until like around 100-200 hours I've noticed i have hide to much playing hide and seek and wanted to be like "Ghost" - its cool but only for clean runs if you want quickly clear stashes.... When trying pvp, sometimes stop and listen.. sound are important in this game... (imho sometimes very broken, how you can hear from basement that someone is walking on 3rd floor of concrete building????) Most important - DON'T worry if you die. Suck it up and try again. ALL are dying:D Biggest streamers are sometimes camped by corner/ exfil campers or sniped by guys with thermal.. This is tarkov;) It is brutal and that's why many play it.. game has potential and if they fix issue with servers and long queue and implement some anti cheat...(damm stickyman hack) it should be great game in the future. It kinda remind me Stalker in some way, you know postapo vibes.

Dead Men Tell No Tales I appreciate your reply. I’ve only played on Customs as I heard it was a good beginner map to learn, but now I’m hearing Shoreline might be more forgiving? I haven’t extracted yet, level 2, and have lost all my starting gear pretty much. Bought a SKS and ammo and am anxious to bring it in. I almost extracted on a scav once and was very close to getting away with two bodies worth of loot... but no joy.

As all can be tricky in some places, but in my opinion it has more spots to cross map than Customs, and I would also categorize it as for beginners (if you not trying to rush resort). Overall I feel better there. From my experience i saw people aiming more to raid villiage and resort there... and leaving stashes for me:) if you struggling just run through Offline mode, first time without AI to see where are critical spots on map.. (Here 2nd monitor or map opened on cell phone helps as well). Then run it again in offline with scavs... so you can see where they spawn.. When you done with exploration in offline - Try do some scav runs.. just collect some loot and get out. Transfer it to PMC., but as i said if you don't use it just sell it:) but do not neglect PMC enter map kill some scavs, loot some items. get exp and skill points.. even you get killed you can get lots of exp. Exp is needed, you will unlock more stuff, more quests, flea market. Knowledge in this game is important, and knowing how to move on Maps is key. VOX_E made awesome videos about it.

Just really hope they will invest something into servers now (for example in customs lobby i see like 25+ players constantly, but it takes like 15-20 minutes to start the game sometimes Oo) and anticheat, this is needed too;/

Some Feedback, the parkour especially around big red will get you killed as you are super exposed and easily spotted from numerous locations, if i ever see someone jump around trains, that guy gets killed, the lay down spots like on top of that small building on the bridge side at the railway is also very unsafe you are very easy to see on top of that thing. I think you should have divided this video in either 2 videos or 2 seperate runs for beginner and advanced because most jumps are not doable on lvl 1 strength and someone with lvl 10 strength is far from a beginner that takes a lot of time to get otherwise cool video although that back are you didn#t cover the other main spawn area and has a high frequency of pvp fights not only the substation but especially the 2 hills between the railroads
