The audio with HRTF is legit some of the best gaming audio I've heard yet, especially in the Tarkov mode. It's so precise.

Did you also play with HRTF off to compare? I feel like the audio is already really good and accurate with HRTF off. With HRTF on, I just felt like it just made literally everything louder, especially when you're playing Warfare inside a building and there are a million gunshots and grenades going off everywhere. This was what made me turn it back off, the extra noise was just too much for me. But maybe I need to try it again and just turn down my effects volume some more.

@SLAY3R8888 Some sounds generated with HRTF are MUCH louder yes. To me those sounds are important + i use a compressor for all sound so i never have ear piercingly loud audio.

@@EyeOfJanuary that is my issue with DF is that some of the sounds are pretty ear piercing unless I turn the volume way down. Do you mind telling me what compressor you use? Is it hardware or software? I just use SteelSeries Sonar for audio splitting / sound profiles, currently using the BF2042 preset for Delta Force (which might also have compression). But I am open to trying something different. Sorry for all the questions. TIA.

​@@nagiaoe2434people will always be able to cheat but much less because of the anti cheat plus in a modern fps game especially extraction games you NEED kernel level anti cheat because that's the only way to beat kenel level cheats. Blame the cheaters

the option to toggle instead of hold to revive still resets every time you restart the game. also, and this is important, the game now allows you to bind aim and hold breath on the same key. so, just like in battlefield, you can put ads and hold breath on right mouse button and automatically hold breath when you aim down sights. in delta force you can hold breath with every weapon btw. one downside to this might be that your character breathes heavily which might annoy you. also, i would still not recommend the auto mantle option, because what this does is basically it will mantle over objects that are next to you, not just in front of you. it actually causes problems.

Also try turn on/off SMT If you using AMD or Hyper Treading for Intel , for me game runs alot smoother with this turned off

If you change the ADS Sensivity type to Set Per Zoom, it gets rid of the terrible mouse excelaration. This makes aiming feel waaaay smoother.

Something that might help someone: if you have sprint and hold breath bound to the same key and use toggle ADS, you will have to untoggle ADS first before you can sprint (which is unlike a lot of other FPS games and very annoying if you have a lot of muscle memory built up). A way around that is to bind hold breath to another key or unbind it completely, then you are able to sprint even when in ADS. Not a perfect solution, but you don't really need to hold your breath with a red dot and if you don't really snipe then you can live without it.

Coefficient to 0(zero), there is everywhere a misconception that if you have 16:9 monitor its better to set it at 178 which absolutely wrong. If you want the vertical and horizontal movement of your crosshair and or mouse to be 1 by 1, then the only way to achieve that is to set coefficient to 0(zero) and nothing else! Of course someone can try 178 too or even higher as some players do but to achieve 1 by 1 movement the correct setting is 0(zero).

I don't fully dislike the game, but funny enough, it feels like a "Temu Battlefield" for me lol mostly vehicles in general, but for a free to play game I'd say it's pretty okay, I just rather play a real BF game and not a "BF like game" tbh. Also, commands and key mapping it's unnecessarily complex, you need ur entire keyboard to play with so many different commands, quite overwhelming sometimes, mostly in my case when I try to key map my one hand gaming keypad (razr tartarus pro). I really tried to enjoy the game but after almost 2 hours I ended up uninstalling the game 🤷‍♂️

You should be running Full-screen, and keep DLSS at Quality setting, Balanced is pretty low quality wise. Game is well optimized overall.

That setting is useless if you dont have an integrated gpu (like a laptop for example) so if you got only 1 gpu, leave it on auto

Game isnt out on consoles yet, it comes out in a few months but it'll be crossplay between consoles and pc with a separate mobile version
