Ultimate Direction: Fastpack 30

The shoulder straps appear to have no padding., so will the weight of the pack be on these main tension points? As there is no hip belt to take the weight.. What sort of weight could you put in the 30l before it becomes unconfortable. many thanks ATB colin

I jumped about with one having 2 x 2kg sandbags in. Seemed to hold very well

I'm concerned looking at the shoulder straps for padding. Everything else seems fine, but having around 20lbs in this pack would seem like it would hurt your shoulders after a while. No need for a hip belt with a build like this though.
