This universe and its starting point (fantastic 4) makes me want to read all the original Jack Kirby Fantastic 4. But that is one of the main things alternate universes do. They take something that may or may not be out of date to some, but for those who feel it's dated, an alternate universe can bring a nostalgic feeling to ("out dated versions") an IP they once felt was antiquated.

It was really good issue, but it I liked issue 3 more tbh. The beginning of issue 3 is just so good, and the data pages just made it so interesting. And the message about the affects of atomic bombs is just good. Maybe I’ll end up liking 4 more later on, but so far issue 3 the best for me.

I apologize, but I'm once again putting my thought on 6160 Reed in your comment section. This time, it's adapted from a post of mine on another site. So...I just wanted to see if people agreed/disagreed with me regarding my interpretation of Ultimates #4, or rather, a particular part of it. Basically, where some people seem to see hubris in 6160 Reed, I instead see something else. 6160 Reed(I'll be referring to them as just Reed from here on out) seems to refuse to adapt to the changes in their life, instead trying to cling to what their life once was, and making things worse in the process. Reed refused to accept that they couldn't break through the time barrier at the time of the issue and damaged their hands as a result, with their new gloves probably being a testament to that. In the past, they also refused to accept that their project is being shut down despite it failing safety inspections, and they (illegally) proceed with the project in spite of that, resulting in the death of a minor. The Maker might have delayed the launch, but Reed still illegally proceeded in spite of failed safety inspections they were already aware of, and involved a minor. It seemed like there were a lot of ways for it to go wrong already. In both of these instances, we see that Reed's refusal to adapt to the changes in their life only makes their life/health worse. Regardless of why they do it, this seems to be a recurring quality in Reed, and an arguably negative one. I don't doubt that a number of people could relate to them in this respect. Personally, I think that that quality in Reed is a result of their refusal to confront and resolve their emotions, as well as to tend to their mental health, not their hubris, but this is all just my interpretation.

I wouldn't say a perfect issue, but it's close to that, top 5 comics of the year easy. It will be interesting to see the final fate of this doom, it's not his fault, however here we could see that his greatest interest in allying himself with the ultimates is not to create a better world but to be able to bring back that family that he lost, but how far would he go to achieve this? It would be tragic, but what if the victor of this universe will end up becoming the new "reed" and reed will be the man consumed by his ego and personal demons we know(true doom). Anyway, among the new villains of this generation, Knull is the coolest, but the maker is the most twisted and deep imo.

Maker Reed making this worlds Reed Doom doesn't make sense really because he's goal was to join the council of Reeds and the only way was to have his own universe. So when did he's goal change?
