Ultimate Double Dragon Demo 0.9 | Spawn & Shaq Extended Gameplay

Hello everybody! Its my birthday today and your content creating king has returned! Its been a long time since I made a UDD video and its about time that changed. I have a reputation of being the best and its about time I defended it. I put more effort into the making of this video than I have any other video including my LOTDD movelist video. Another 5 month long development video! I challenge myself not just in gameplay, but in video editing presentation too.
In this video, you see not 1, not 2, not 3, but EIGHT choreographed runs between Spawn and Shaq. I played so hard to achieve my gameplay I legit broke my controller! I went above and beyond in terms of presentation around this video. You will see Mortal Kombat 3 as a driving theme through out the entire video. There are some other tributes to other games within, but I won't spoil them for you right now. You will just have to watch the full video! Enjoy!

Spawn and Shaq have got to be one of the weirdest and most unlikely combinations I've never thought I would see.

It comes mostly from technical limitations. There were very very few old models out there that fit this size and art style inside a 256×224 box. There are other characters out there but a pre requirement is having a lot of Sprites to work with to edit, and the character being "cool" or having some kind of "star power".

@@joelhannah5826 Haha! Thanks! Yeah, Castlevaina was one of the developer's favorite games. Its gonna be a while before I upload more. It will be sometime after the final version comes out. Who knows when that will actually be. It will be a little easier for me as I won't have to worry so much about presentation. I can just play. But I have a long way to go before I reach my true final form. 😉

Probably not. The original sprite from the shodai game looks a bit too small, and the baka game is really different in art style and is too large. Also Ogata is no longer involved in the project at this point. Sorry. 😢

September or later. Probably later. Remember this is being made by one man who has a day job. We now also have to be cautious with arcsys releasing all these Double Dragon games. If we get too greedy and loud in promoting, we could get a C&D order from them. I've already made my mind up that'll probably come out early next year. But I don't know.

Nope. PC or Android compatible device only. No online either. It's just a modest free fan game made on a really old version of an open source engine.
