Solid pointing out the percentage of stats thing. All of the stats are good for you. More=better. Some secondaries are better than others, all else equal, but you want quantity, not proportion!

The thing about stat breakpoints that you said could use a smaaaaall footnote There are no stat breakpoints like there used to be for # of damage ticks during DoT duration and such, but some things have implicit breakpoints which create a jump-discontinuity in your dps/stat value, and unless you realize it, your sim can fool you. One example is, in 9.0-9.1 when fire mage ran 1 minute combust builds, you needed just about 20% haste to fit 7 pyroblast crits inside a combust without lust or PI. If you dropped any more haste, any other stat upgrade would show a DPS loss. So stuff like droptimizer would be misleading because it checks 1 item change at a time I'd imagine other dps windows could have an effect similar to this, but much less severe Id also imagine in DF, if you can't fit 8 pyros inside a combust, you could be losing out because then you can't immediately go into SKB mini combust

I always learn with your videos :) very very good, also I really like the name of the channel “okay mage” and focus on frost s2 Lovely channel, Guys, one question, human or void elf for PVP mages? I see loads of human mages but at the same time I think void elf is good for having that extra teleport and don’t being stopped while casting, any advice? Thanks a lot :)

Hi :) for frost talents, are 2 charges of Flurry and Frozen Touch talent better option than 2 points in Subzero? I mean, all Fingers of Frost and Brain Freeze procs and shattered Frostbolts and Icicles acts as they are damaging frozen target :)

Depends on what you’re running Subzero is only an increase if they’re frozen AND rooted. Therefore if you’re doing mythic + and you combine with frost bite you’ll see a nice increase (ice nova, frozen orb, and blizzard). However, bosses cannot be rooted, so you will see zero increase when it comes to raid. Otherwise just do frozen touch and ignore 2 charges of flurry. IMO having 2 charges of flurry is worthless because you only flurry with brain freeze since that increases flurry damage.

Why does your talent example show more talents chosen then possible? Which ones do I choose in game?

As the title states it’s a prepatch breakdown. The video covers and discusses all information we have so far 🥰 As I said at the start of the video, there are no sims or theorycrafting done for prepatch. Only speculation and varying opinions. Though I do discuss in the video which talent options are currently numerically strongest. I also discuss in the video which talents are currently shadowlands borrowed power and which talents you can take alongside it. I'm conflicted as it's all subject to change. What would you recommend for better single-traget DPS in PVP? Fire seems more straight forward but the potential of frost has a higher ceiling

Hi i know we have to play for fun. But witch mage class is best for DF? I play frost now but before that i played fire much untill they nerfed fire in shadowlands :) Thx in advance

Hey! It’s almost impossible to say right now what spec will be best for Dragonflight. Frost and fire are both performing pretty well right now, arcane needs a little more time but is also looking good. Fire is generally a safe pick because of its strong kit (cheat death etc)

@@brianfury1981 My best advice is to give them all a go and see what you enjoy playing! Dragonflight isn't as restrictive as shadowlands was, you have the freedom to easily swap specs when you like! Glad you enjoyed the video :)

Remember that keybinds are subjective and personal. A filler spell on 2 works for me due to keeping my thumb more central on the mmo mouse for ease of access on all other buttons🥰

This is partly down to prepatch not mattering, but mostly because we have a lot of borrowed power from shadowlands which we won’t have in Dragonflight. As I state in the video, this extra borrowed power causes conflicting choices (such as current legendaries being capstones which I also discuss in the video.) It’s also a ton of work on the theorycrafters due to the borrowed power. Because of the reasons above no one can tell you exactly what to play based on factual data, though you can sim yourself. So have fun and play around with the talents based off of all the facts I provide in the video!

It's important for you to understand that other creators are stating their opinions, which is fine! I took a different approach in covering changes and what factual evidence we have right now :)

Nice video, One thing to note: Sadly the talent trees you showed use too many points for the prepatch. Until we are level 70 we will have 5 less points in both the class and spec tree.

It's noted at the start of the video there are no sims or theory crafting done for prepatch. So explaineing what everything does and what's strong in df and feely crafting from there is all that can be done.
