About the Video
The Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) is a government-backed retirement savings scheme in India. With the introduction of new tax rules on EPF, a lot of confusion has surfaced. This video explains in detail the registration eligibility of EPF for both employees and employers.

Suggestions- you must have a base amount. So, based on excel the current salary becomes the starting point. But there might be previous amount. So that becomes base. Nice video and thanks for nice calculator, your loan calculator is awseome.

Pension can be more than Rs. 7500 if option A is selected. For option B pension is below Rs 7500.

One question you mentioned about 7.5 Lac NPS+EPF Employer contribution. So is it like any amount greater than 7.5 will be taxed or full amount will be taxed. I have 3 questions: First, if someone leaves the job and still want to stay invested till the age of 58 or 60 in EPF (without contributing further after leaving the job), is this allowed? Or withdrawal is mandatory who is not in job? Secondly, pls elaborate on EPS process. Does it start automatically or How can someone apply for pension to start? Is this lifelong or till a certain age? Does this also continue for dependents? If someone leaves job at age 40 and withdraws EPF amount, what happens to accumulated EPS amount? Thirdly, what if someone continues to work after 60 years of age. Lets say someone works till 65, will EPF and EPS amount still get added up?
