Zealantis summons a monster on your opp's field so it triggers princess which pops a fire monster on your field thus triggering raging and you get a lot of damage this way 🔥 (zealantis + princess + raging = 8000+ dmg)

The hand is private knowledge so you can’t verify wether or not Garunix/Gazelle/primula we’re already in hand so it’s been ruled that these kind of cards will always trigger like that. Same for Ponix, if you destroy a random fire monster with Island and add ponix, ponix will trigger to special summon because a fire monster was destroyed

been really excited about this deck, main reason being i pulled 3 wanted seeker of sinful spoils, one of which is qcr and wanted to make a deck with it and this one seems most affordable and looks super fun too :3

One thing I found that helped a lot is maining super poly. The deck has a hard time destroying established boards with negates because it needs effects to resolve to do them. Super poly clearing problem cards is very nice

so about the flameberge combo post PHNI, you don't have to end of the whale link. You can instead go into the salamangreat wolf, then revive linkuriboh, wolf to add back Kirin for follow-up, go into decode talker heatsoul to draw 2 more cards. You lose 1 disruption and recursion that whale provides, but to compensate, heatsoul gave you 2 draws to either get to follow-up or non-engine and kirin alongside the other forms of follow-up it gets normally.

4:23 That's how it is ruled probably because you could just be triggering Garunix that is already in hand. Obviously in past situations with Gazelle being limited it's not possible to have another one previously in hand, but to be consistent it has to be ruled this way.

@@PepperTCGthe ruling is that trigger effects that can trigger from a private location (hand or deck) don't have to "see" their trigger, they only need to be able to trigger directly after their trigger occured or directly after the corresponding chain has resolved. One of the first cards with that specifying text ("even if not" meaning that it wasn't in your hand at the point of it's trigger effect's requirement being met) was "Darkest Diabolos, Lord of the Lair" from the 2018 Lair of Darkness Structure Deck.

in the flamberge combo you forgot to put a monster in your spell trap zone with flamberge, put diabellstar in there. you can even trigger it on your own with your pop effects in opponents turn (if you want to, you dont have to, its an option) and you can go for amblowhale even pre phni with heatsoul and the level 1, then pop amblowhale with high avatar kirin in opp. turn, special back sunlight wolf (which u can trigger with your xyz rank 8) i:p if you build it in combo instead of sunlight wolf or heatsoul

I feel like GK’s Inscription could be a good counter when going second vs this deck, I can see that card having a spike when this is at full power I do like that you won’t need the Diabellstar package as much when Populous gets released, and you can get by with 1 copy. I do expect Prometheus and Populous to be expensive upon release, but 1 each isn’t so bad.

Great deck showcase man, but may I ask if I were to replace the Diabellestarr engine with other cards will it hinder the deck significantly? Do you maybe have an alternative for the diabelle engine, cause I'm really broke buying other staple cards🤣🤣

Dogmatika and/or prosperity is the best replacement for post structure deck. Once PHNI comes out to can just run the bonfire and snake-eye cards instead. Hopefully bonfire will be more affordable.

Most of the post-Phantom Nightmare lists that I've seen in the OCG have dropped the Diabellstar/Wanteds, do you think it's one or the other, or can both Diabellstar and Snake-Eye engines mix in Fire Kings? Just wondering if I should drop $200 on Wanteds now or hold off.

Bonfire can be a direct replacement but I think having both is still fine. For us in the TCG you might be able to replace diabellstar stuff with prosperity since we have 3 copies. That should help you find bonfire and snake-eyes without needing to drop all that cash on diabelsttar stuff

Linkuriboh is necessary for the Heatsoul combo if you special summon ponix. Linkuriboh also lets you dodge impermenance in some scenarios. Definitely a key card for the deck.
