Two tips for everyone! If you have Thoma, use him in inuzuma while fishing! He has a 25% chance to get a bonus fish in Inuzuma only. He saved me another visit to someone world because of it! And buy a suspension gadget from the fish sellers around the world. After catching the same fish it memorizes it and makes it 100000000000% easier to fish. Sometimes it just stays in one place for like 8 seconds. Helps a ton and makes everything go so much faster!

I realised you only need to have him in the roaster to get the effect too, so you don't have to take him out if he's too low leveled for the angelfish since it's dangerous there

Just thought I'd mention a couple things: - the consensus online seems to be respawn time is 3 days but that isn't 100% confirmed - if you want pure efficiency when going for the catch you need only 6 medaka to buy fake worm bait and false fly bait. From here you need to craft so that you have 20 of the fake worm bait and 120 of the false fly bait. With the knowledge about the pool of fish vs visible a few more of each type as well as stocking up on fruit paste bait isn't a bad idea. Thanks again for this great content, and I hope paimon's 3 voice lines aren't burned into your brain after all this.

I spent most of my time in online classes fishing, so it doesn't seem as tedious as it is. Tip for people who want to do the same: you can actually open the map to stop time, however, the "I" mark will be repositioned to the left of the bar, so you should get around a quarter of the progress before opening the map. Once you get used to it you can both focus on your class and fishing

True :'( 3 days for respawn is wayyyy too long. I am forced to go to random world and ask for permission to fish. It took quite a long time to fish so I was feeling bad having to let the host to wait for me

the event is permanent, so maybe they expect everyone to fully r5 catch in a few weeks since it isnt a time restricted event. but i agree, 3 days seems a bit too long.

haven't seen a comment about which types of bait to use, so here's what I've gathered in my 48 hours of fishing: medaka (flower tail) - yellow ball bait angel fish (C shaped tail) - worm bait sword fish (pointy snout) - red ball bait koi (long eel looking fish with whiskers) - purple fly bait pufferfish (huge, kinda looks like a balloon) - purple fly bait there are different variations of each fish, but what type of bait they use depends on the shape / species of the fish. so far, medaka seems to have the most variations / flashy colours. happy fishing everyone :)
