I own a Edge 30 U, tbh over 2 months, the battery drain has been very consistently controlled. Even with 144Hz its very manageable to use full day and still have 30 to 40 percent left at the end of it. Idle drain has also been improved, and fun fact: you do not miss notifications, like in other custom UIs. Mail notifications come faster on the phone than on my laptop.

Iphone 14 plus has a 60hz refreshing rate while moto edge 30 ultra has 144Hz refreshing rate. So I think Moto edge 30 ultra will win when it is set to 60Hz refreshing rate. Motorola is the real Android KING !!!!!!

I am a proud moto edge 30 ultra owner.... Actually moto had only 4650 battery...compare to others have 5000 mah.... But moto excells battery department given competition to iphones. Thorough out the test moto runs smoothly as well as maintained low temperature level. Unlike other brands there is no brightness dip and no high temp warning.

While using Geekbench Iphones were using a black background. While the androids were using a white background. And you ran Geekbench for a long time on all phones. And as we all know OLED with a white screen takes a toll on the battery. We should keep this in mind.

S22U looses because of inefficient SD 8Gen1 made on Samsung foundary and also large and wide screen area relatively. OnePlus performs better due to tsmc varient of 8Gen1. Tensor G2 is energy inefficient (4nm Samsung foundary), heavy throttling. relatively small resolution(1080p) in edge 30 ultra helps battery a lot combined with efficient 8+Gen1.

i think the s22 ultra you have is approx a year old and the battery health of s22u is degraded becuase of that.... other than that moto and iphones are newly released phone..so we can't judge it on the basis of this test ... otherwise iphone and moto performed great..
