I am ever so grateful for this video today. I woke up to another dreary windy and wet day. You brought the sunshine to my morning. Sun, water, palm trees, good food and lots of interesting places to visit. I felt I was on holiday. Feeding those fish was incredible to watch. Large mouths to feed. I'm now off to make my breakfast- dreaming of lobster and settling for fruit and yoghurt 😂! Happy travels. 👍🌷 🙋♀️

@@NewstateNomads Last week we checked our weather forecast and it appeared we'd have some nice weather east of here- so booked a hotel for a few days. Guess what? It'll be dry at home and WET there. Sigh! I'm a positive person and am confident the rain will fall at night while we sleep and the sun will shine during the day 😂😎! I just klove spending time with you guys. It is a real escape from daily events. Our covid numbers are dropping quite rapidly now, as many vaccinations have been set. Hopefully it'll make traveling to Europe more feasible. This was a great video Howard and Katelyn. Loved looking at the food. Looked good. How was that great big fish you ate? I’m used to seeing big fish our best friends had a fish market in Michigan and they had all kinds of fish. Even lobster and crab. How was the snorkeling? That brewery looked fun to go through and taste the drinks. You guys feeding the big little fish the big fish took the little fish and ate fast and looked like they bit you at first. They were quick. This was a fun video. Can’t wait until next video. Have a great week and see you soon!

The whole fish has us drooling again. The dive from the boat was epic. How are the camping cost? Lou & Angie
@NewstateNomads3 жыл бұрын
Lou & Angie, you've got to eat before watching, how many times have we told you?! Haha. So much more to share from the Keys in the next two episodes, but don't come hungry! Camping costs GREATLY depend on the amount of planning, amenities and location ($36 - $100+ a night). If you can snag some state park camping well in advance, it's the most economical, but the private RV resorts can't be beat for amenities and proximity to activities. I'd advise to mix it up and try several spots along the Keys! 👍 -Howard

Jacksonville to Key West is more than 329 miles, more like 500
@NewstateNomads3 жыл бұрын
That's correct, Jacksonville to Key West is almost exactly 500 miles. However, the A1A designation starts and stops along the route. Depending on the source, A1A is usually calculated at approximately 330 miles in length. Here's one site that breaks down all the various sections of the famous road. Thanks for watching! -Howard www.aaroads.com/guides/fl-a1a/

@@NewstateNomads Yes, but your video says "from the northermost beach in Florida" and shows Fernandina Beach as the A1A starting point, some 539 miles from Key West. Earth may spin off it's axis if this isn't corrected. John
