Have been watching your channel for a bit and the moment I saw a Pininfarina box, this video had my full attention! (I'm a car guy so I can appreciate when engineers go beyond just motor vehicles in design, ie Porsche Design, etc). My Appelboom orders (yes multiple) came in. Super exciting day. Aside from inks, I'm going to be slowing down now after finally getting my Graf von Faber-Castell Classic in Macassar which took about a month from order.

If the pens are going to be sold on I suggest not using the ink supplied in the boxes as that would seriously diminish the value for certain collectors.

@@InkquiringMinds Sounds like Ed doesn't know anything about the pen reviewing world. (Most - putting this in for Doug, he's reviewed many a pen he bought himself) reviewers get sent pens for free, so as not to bias a review. The reviewer will have the option to buy the pen at a standard discount, but lots of review pens are sent back to the manufacturer/shop owner they came from.
