I dropped out of high school in 2009. I’ve been working since but I always felt like something in my life was missing. No amount of money I made, made up for the hole I felt in my life due to me dropping out of school. I stopped using jobs as a coverup for my mistake. I wanna have a career where I make a difference. I was a volunteer firemen for 2 weeks but was discouraged because I knew I needed at least my GED. I passed my Language Arts in 2016, my Social Studies a month ago and my Science yesterday. All I have is Math left now. I put it off for so long being afraid of my own potential. Denying myself. Thanks to these videos I passed my last 2 sections this month. I never comment on KZbin videos but I felt this was most necessary even if it’s never seen. This will touch someone’s heart. You are good enough ! A GED doesn’t put you in a lower class and you can still be the hardest worker in the room ! Good luck to everyone who’s taking their tests to help improve their lives. Nothing but the best and blessings to everyone .

Just passed my last test today which was science, thank you so much for helping me throughout my journey! It was definitely a challenge with this science test, a lot of dependent and independent variable questions, mostly reading passages that want you to conclude and find supported evidence for the hypothesis so I recommend reading through passages and figuring out what supports theories and hypothesis, some food chain questions, and they want you to solve for mean, mode, median, range! Not too hard! You got this!

I ended up dropping out of high school when I was 17. I’m currently 21. I attempted to get my GED shortly after dropping but I was not successful. It was only until a few months ago where I started watching your videos which helped me out tremendously. I got my GED about three months ago. Now I’m about to enlist in the Army. Thank you for your time and help

I passed the practice test with a 156 so i was bummed my actual score wasn’t higher but that’s because nothing on the practice test was on the main test and i only got one median question that probably saved me. It was a lot of math! But anywho thanks buddy. I’ll be binge watching all of the social studies!

Tomorrow I go for my Science test(Science is my favorite and best subject, so I wanna do a good as possible) and decided to watch you're video, which is excellent I love how you take the time to break the problem down. An easier way to go from Celsius to fahrenheit is to take the temp, double it, and add 30. Its the same equation in the sense. that it's equal, and its easier to remember 10 degrees (x2) + 30 = 50 degrees

Hello Mr. Parker, ( I'm sorry if I wrote your name wrong) I have a question I hope you can answer me, my question is that most of the people that toke the science test said that most of the science test was about reading comprehension as well as some math question, dependent and independent variable, hypothesis questions, Punnett square question and ecosystem question. is that right I'm gone take my science and math test this Thursday and I really need help with science can you please tell me what are the most important things that I need to focus on science.😥 Thank you❤
@TestPrepChampions2 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for your comment. I agree with everything you've been hearing, as the science section is mostly reading comprehension and using graphs/charts to answer questions. Topics like experiments, independent/dependent variables, and punnett squares are all important, as you mentioned above. If you understand the questions in this video, I'd say you're in pretty good shape, but unfortunately, there's no guarantee.

If you guys picked D for question two keep in mind that the question says “proves”. Even though it’s said in the text that “the lower atmosphere had almost no oxygen” it’s not solid proof. Only the examination of the Micrometeorites proved there was oxygen in the upper atmosphere.

So, I’ve been watching all of your videos and also been in school preparing for this science text for 6wks, got a score of 153 on my GED ready test but failed the actual test with a 138. What would u recommend that I study the most to kind of understand science all together cause even though I was familiar with the kind of questions, science is just hard for me to understand I guess lol.

So, did you study for the ged using an official Ged test prep book or online?
@kristywhiteside56562 жыл бұрын
@@MonstermanX I studied online and in the Kaplan book cause that’s the book we have to use in the GED prep school I go to. I did it all lol. There was a lot of things about science I still didn’t understand which is the reason I think I failed. My question though, is where do I need to start to get a better understanding of it all so I can pass the test. I even passed the GED ready with a 153, just couldn’t pass the actual test.
@MonstermanX2 жыл бұрын
Ok so, you can actually find out what topic you are weak in from the GED website all you need to do is follow the step below, 1. login to your GED account 2. open the "my score" option on the top of the screen (If you are on a laptop/pc) 3. press the "score report" button below your test (can be any subject as long as you have given the test) 4. you will be able to see a "Link Your Study Material" tab below your test score 5. link the book you used to study for the GED test and it will tell you the exact page and topics you need help in

The tree ring question is really confusing, and I still don't 100% understand it. I'm hoping I don't get multiple versions of that question on the official test 🥲. If I remember correctly, I had a similar question on the practice test, and I just guessed lol. Some of the word problems with technical terms really throw me off. I managed to score 155 on the official practice test, so I have some faith though!
