My pack is set up identical to yours. I was with the 82nd, and to some, it looks like a heavy loadout, but it's really not. Good stuff, keep on keeping on.

@@64jumpers3 Thanks man! Got a lot of respect for anyone willing to jump out of a perfectly good airplane.

I'd pack some standard 855 greentips from winchester ziplock baggie 60 rounds not optimal but consistent as a fellow geardo a hard learned lesson is practical sometimes beats optimal. Maybe add some silica packets to keep down the oxygen on those and your other load minimizing degradation from moisture. Great production and content, TY.

@@srankauto1331 that’s a good idea. I have the wolf ammo just because I bought a case of it for training. I’m working on more m855 clone reloads that I can replace the cheap steel case stuff with. I’ve done a few videos on it.

Good luck carrying that more than 5 miles

If he had a foldable bike he could cover more ground and need less stuff.

I should probably provide more details on what else I carry with me. I am an infrared thermographer and test backup power systems in hospitals. This requires me to carry a large roll around Milwaukee packout, as well as another large packout to clip to the top of it. In such a case where I had to walk any amount of distance I would dump all my tools except for my infrared camera and pack the nice to have stuff in the packouts, which has large tires and can roll over rough terrain, I also carry extra gear for shooting and hunting and would dump all non essential gear. I keep backups to backups at home. I also travel with multiple people. Some of which also carry go bags and some that don’t. I could divvy up the weight with them as well since we would all be heading in the same general direction. Scott, who is on the podcast quite often, almost always travels with me. As far as carrying the load long distances, I’ve done around ten miles with this setup. It wasn’t pleasant but I could go farther, I’m not in as good of shape as I was in the Marines, but I have carried twice as much twice as far in my youth. This pack setup is loosely based on what we used to carry. I go hiking with this setup when time permits. Please excuse any mistyping as I am sending this from my phone. I hope this helps and I hope you have a great day!
