Hi, If I'm trying to use GHL to set up an SMS marketing sequence (send SMS to leads), what trigger can I use? How can I trigger to start the sending of SMS?

Hey Catherinea, you can decide which trigger you want to use. You don’t even have to use a trigger, you could bulk add them from the CRM without a trigger. To trigger an SMS marketing sequence in GoHighLevel, you can use the "Contact Tag" or "Form Submission" trigger. For example, you can set up a workflow that sends an SMS when a lead is tagged (e.g., "New Lead") or when they submit a form. Simply create a workflow with the appropriate trigger and add the "Send SMS" action to automatically send messages to leads when they meet the conditions you set.

Awesome stuff. I'm having a strange issue where someone is in a workflow after booking an appt, but when I unconfirm and delete the appt from the GHL calendar, the contact remains in the workflow and therefore keeps getting the texts and emails until the end of it. GHL has escalated a ticket for this and I feel it should be pretty simple lol any idea on why this is? I could always go in and remove the contact from the WF manually, but the idea is to set and forget a WF, not be in it to make this type of change/deletion

@itsgabed You can create new workflows that trigger when you change the appointment status to unconfirmed or delete, that would then remove the contact from all active workflows or that specific reminder workflow ;) You can join my free community here: gosmarterflow.com/community
