I have the F-GT Lite and when you put the straps very tight, it's even bit more stable as in this video with this rig. I think you could've put the strips bit tighter but I understand also why you haven't done it :P Like you said it's the plastic that's wobbling anymore and it's very minimal. You don't notice it when you drive. The older versions like F-GT Lite had only strap on the left side and one extra strap that wasn't meant to be used I think, but when you put it over the right side and go under bottom front feet and tighten there, the wobble is very minimal anymore.

I think the seat does very well, its not a problem at all. a real car wheel moves as well when you go over bumps etc

I check on the Next Level website and it doesn’t say how wide the chair. Could you measure it? I’m a big guy and would hate to order it and not fit in it. (Just for reference my PC chair is 23 inches wide and I fit comfortably)

From another video the clips for the straps are too light. If they made them stronger and the straps were tightened to rigid there should be less wheel movement.

I think alot of other youtubers undersell these rigs and act like you cant feel close to the ffb which I found isnt true st all.

The straps are quite strong and all three can be adjusted. This shouldnt become an issue.

I like how they improved the seat a lot. I had the original GT Lite and the seat in the original was very very uncomfortable. But it still needs more changes. Those clamps (the red round thing on the hinge at the front) is still too wide. They should make it optional to have thepart where you put the gear shifter optional to make that narrower making more compact for storage. The GT Lite I had was too wide for the space I wanted to store it in when I wasn't using it which is one of the minor reasons why I changed it. The major reason for changing it was that seat was so incredibly uncomfortable. I suggested to Next Level Racing to add a secondary strap between the back of the seat and wheel deck to increase rigidity on the wheel deck. They still need to add that. The pedal deck is a good improvement the way it is clamped to the seat leg. It looks like it will be a lot less compact than the originaland just as much of a pain to fold up and unfold. I don't have space for a static cockpit so I replaced the original GT Lite with a playseat challenge but I used the pedal deck from the GT Lite on the playseat. The problem I have with using the pedal deck from the GT Lite is the pedals don't go far enough away from me but at least my T-LCM Pedals are clamped to the pedal deck instead of being strapped down.

I think this 'uprgrade' is unnecessary, possibly a money grab, I've TWO GT Lite rigs, in two locations. One is fitted with a G923, the other a Fanatec DD Pro. With the packing strap fitted tightly from the upper horizontal bar to rear of chair - as depicted in NLR's own video series on how to improve stability, COMBINED with a tie-down strap connected from the upper horizontal bar (to which wheel is mounted) to the bottom bar (front of seat) and tightened a LOT, I have very little movement. The PRO edition's straps from top horizontal bar to pedal deck is a very poor solution, IMO.

The pro has a way better seat. Lets not leave that out. Gt lite seat is complete garbage.

Yep. The gt lite seat is dog water. It kills my back after about 25-30 min. I'll be selling mine and buying this.

KZbin sim racers complain of movement in cheaper rigs. Then they test motion sim and drool over the motion. We viewers can't win. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

If you look at the angle of the mount the 90 degree angle is upside down from that of the playseat challenge. Its therefore weaker then the ps challenge. The straps make it look awkward in comparison. They are equal in torque load capability if anything play seat is stronger. Why not do a 'verse' comparison of both. That would only be fair. If given the choice i think play seat challenge wins hands down. Feel free to test head to head.
