I'd like to add a small detail for L and Kira players in addition. For Kira, whoever is L has the Vindicating Evidence ability, that will reveal one investigator for free. As stated here you and your follower cannot see where this NPC will spawn. However, you as Kira can sabotage this act by opening your death note, you'll see an additional option available 'Collaborator'. Allowing you to kill the NPC and further lock off the L team's ability to have any true indication on who to trust. So as Kira, try to ensure your never in a truly crowded spot so you can quickly kill them whenever L tries to use the ability. This is often used on the 1st day so make them waste it as they don't get this back! On the L side, consider holding onto it for the mid/late game, as this can also be used as a means of figuring out who is Kira easier when there's only a few people left, like 4-5. It'll make people want to stick together more (At least be in sight of each other for better context in this example) As a result if the Kira player wants to stop this happening, they'll need to leave the group and it'll become obvious. This can be a minor risk too in certain situations since it'll also help Kira figure out who is L. But since your going to be keeping everyone at a distance anyway, just don't let yourself be cornered. It also can be used to lock out Kira from doing a last second command card themselves to make the game last longer. Since the day timer doesn't stop for your ability like it does for Kira's. So if your in this situation and want to prevent Kira trying a last second rush, pop it, just make sure your 'investigators' are not only in sight of each other but don't reveal themselves too early to let Kira do it the moment the event ends on the reveal. Very powerful ability as a whole.

just to add if kira does kill the collaborator check all players on screen as none of them can be kira himself. (like if 6 of you go to the collaborator and he dies none of those 6 players can be kira)

For Kira/follower, if you’re about to get voted out and L chooses your follower/kira to arrest you. They won’t find the notebook or IDs.

The opposite is also true If it L v Kira. Kira wins if it's investigation however L wins if it's Meetings as L breaks ties. Edit: The Revealed Investigator does need a guide as some people do play this role wrong. As the Revealed Investigator is super aggressive compare to a normal Unrevealed Investigator. For Example During Kira Events they can keep watch and forcing players to do the Task that are not doing the task. And that should be chosen to arrest. They Pretty much have to act as a Meaner 2nd L. People really under estimate the power of the revealed investigator. It's this reason why Toggle off is not fun to deal with.

If I was L I would say for the revealed investigator to take the reins and guide the discussions while alive. Sure could this sus me as L? Yes but I’m just reminding everyone that this player is confirmed by the game so let them lead and I’d Follow their decisions.(And Say they should Arrest. They’re Obviously Not L or on Kira’s Team.)

Something you didn't mention but the joint investigation with two other players after the revealed investigator is so useful to get closer to who Kira might be (at least from my experience and mainly for lobbies without toggling IDs) If both players complete it and neither say their ID was taken: that's already 2-3 people in just the first round who are definitely not Kira. Especially helpful if both players vouch for each other If both players complete it but someone's ID was taken: If you can, try to ask if either player were trying to stop the Kira task. If one was and that same player is the only one with the stolen ID, chances are, (while you can't say definitely) neither are most likely Kira. If neither got close to anyone else though, then that's already one person that's likely on team kira and one who is an investigator If one of the players die: It's likely the other person is Kira/a Kira follower because most Kira players would jump on the chance to kill someone they're close with. It's even more so the less of the joint task they do. Not Something definitive but helps you know if someone needs to be further investigated with

ya in in lobbys with id off having the known investigator tag people(1 person) at the end of the round is very strong. if he has his id then you now have 2 investigators next round 4 etc. if he dont then someone on team kira is getting arrested.

@@Azrael0088 All right. That makes sense. Though imo, it shouldn't even be an option to ever have that off. It's basically a cheat code to force thr killers to be found
