I agree, but 30% tax in foreign countries is not true. Only in USA the taxes are low (~30%) and medical standards are not upto mark, you need to pay 100's of $ even for ambualnce. But Europe countries like Netherlands, German, FR and Nordic countrries charges 37-50% tax and their medical standards are very good. Not a single rupee expense for medical from fever to surgeries in developed european countries. Catch is here Imcome tax rates ~50% and mandatory medical insurances for every individual.

I don't agree with the statement that Consultants are misleading clients for their fees. Ground Reality is "Clients are not that innocent". I lost half of my clients this year because i refused to claim fake refunds for them. I warned them about the consequences of claiming fake refunds , still they went to some other Consultant who "promised' them maximum refund. If not me, some other consultant will claim fake refunds for them in order to earn their livelihood. Ultimately its the clients decision to go or not to go for fake refunds

Yes, this is quite an unfortunate situation. But shouldn't government think the root cause for these false claims? When an employee who struggles a lot in a company and getting a good pay having to think about these illegal refunds, shouldn't the government understand if the taxes they are paying is way more than their annual savings or investments? Frankly, my annual tax deducted is more than my 3 months take home salary. This means, I work for my own family and life for only 9 months an year and the rest 3 months all my efforts go into government's account. Ofcourse, I understand why they collect taxes to manage all the governance expenses blah blah.. But they also make sure everyone in the country to feel equally contributing to the taxes govt need for the expenditure. But at least 90% of employees (including me) feel that only they are paying taxes and there are many classes of people in the society who're simply enjoying the benefits. So, when this scrutiny started on tax payers refund claims, govt should also to start focusing on these gaps in tax payers vs non-tax payers and bring equality for every individual which make the employees feel satisfied for their contribution towards country and won't be such false claims

U/s 139(8A) you can file You have to pay along with late fee which is minimu 1000₹ and you can file this return only if you have tax payable and if you have made any wrong claims you can file updated return pay tax with penalty and settle

We are just siting like dead man including me not knowing what to do. We need to request Government to allow Only two deductions on Actual basis. Children Education fees and Hospital expenses. If these two are allowed on actual basis, no need to claim any other deduction. Another thing is GST on Health insurance premiums. Instead of going to Government hospitals, we ourselves securing our health by taking policy which definitely reduces Government health expenditure on public. Charging GST on those policies not good.

Tax payers are not getting any benefits. Its high time we have to demand for the benefits as we employees are paying huge taxes. 1. Tax payers should get free quality education for their kids 2. Free health care These are basic needs, if we don’t get these benefits whats the point of paying huge taxes.

Expenses like school fee and saving total limit 1.5 L. We pay fee for 2 children crosses 1.5L. What should be saved. That limit should be raised to 5L.from last 10 yrs it's 1.5 L.
