I have been making all my videos from videoproc. I wish there were more features like showing only a part of video ( non circular or sraight lined perimeter), more better effects and ability to edit those too and most importantly clip arts

This is fine and clearly presented. However, what I would appreciate, is also a video that CLEARLY tells me how I could upload 360 video files (such as Insta 360 x3 files) to VideoProc and how to start editing them. When I try to upload any of those files, I find it impossible. Most of these introductory video tutorials deal with .mp4 or similar files, not 360-video formats at all.

I'm having the same issue so please let me know if you found an answer to this. So far I'm only able to upload single clips to youtube in 360 that I have exported straight from Insta 360 studio. Anytime I try and join multiple 360 clips exported out of Insta 360 studio using software such as this videoproc editor they are not shown in 360

For some reason the video that I would like to upload to my project won't save in my project. The progress bar shows up for a second and then disappears and it's like nothing happened. Is this a bug? If so can you fix it? This seems like a very good video editor and I would like to try it out.

Oh, it looks like you failed to import the video to the media library. Would you please share more information about your video file? How did you get the footage? Is it a video shot by iPhone/Canon/GoPro? What's the file format? The more information we get, the better we can understand and analyze.

Very good. For the most part, it seems to have what I need, though I feel some of the tools, like the speed and fade are more complicated than they need to be. I've also yet to figure out how to interlay two clips on top of eachother. It's probably gonna take twice as long as it did with my old software, but it has a lot of benefits too. I'm sure once I get the hang of it it'll be fine, but it's always so time consuming having to learn new software.

Windows Movie Maker 😂 I got the hang of it. Once you figure out all the functions, it's not that difficult. There just doesn't appear to be a way to make scroll credits.

Sorry, we missed your question here. To output video, you might need to adjust the properties under Video. To get a smaller file, select Low, 1, or 2. To have a perfect balance between quality and size, select Medium or 3. To get a high-quality output, select High or 4. To export video with the best quality, select High Quality Engine or 5. Very nice software. But I'm having a problem with video display on the editing screen - it only fills a small area in the lower left side. I'm running version 1.4 on Win 11; with a 4K laptop monitor. Is there a compatibility issue?

How do I remove the auto-merge function for clips after trimming?

If you edit your video on the main Video Track, the clips are automatically "merged" just like there is a magnet. This is to ensure the surrounding clips close up to fill the space, without leaving any gaps between clips. If you don't want this feature, you may drag your clips to the Overlay Track for editing. The Overlay Track is not "magnetic".

I have used video software before in the MPG days and this is much less usable. I want to ,make edits and what I expect is to put in marker A and marker B and cut (delete) between them. There seems to be no way to do it. I'm used to add markerA, add marker B, right-click, delete section (between markers). It seems to be the single most obvious thing to do -- to cut out sections to create a tight video. I've looked at a lot of tutorials and I have only been able to trim start and finish (as demonstrated here). There seems to be no splicing except by creating a lot of individual clips and then loading them into a project. And yes, this is a beginner's level requirement.

Please right click markerA and choose Split, then markerB-Split. In this way, you can delete the clip between A and B.

It is completely non-intuitive. clicking on the second marker doesn't 'select' the area, and clicking on split againt has no effect whatsowever. And the audio editor seems to have no cut and splicing at all. This seems the first thing that anyone would want to do - remove shakes, flubs and unwanted footage, Similarly dropping the volume is pretty obvious thing to do, as is cutting out unwanted sounds.

4K BIG EXPORT BUG (Fixed) A great free full featured product ! But one big bug really annoying for me : With overlay track in 4K mode (with native MP4 rushes from best seller Canon M50), export refuse to work ! Export file stop without error message, hardware acceleration encoding enabled or disabled, MP4 or MKV. Files are just a small part of timeline content. If i disable the overlay track with 4K elements, the export is complete. A fix in the next version ? (Fixed by myself on PC Settings) Best regards to the team.

Other annoying problem : when you insert a sequence on the main track, sequences and titles on Overlay tracks (right on the slider) don't move at the same time and are suddenly offset. And we need 24 and 25p project settings for cinema standard and european video. I like your app, great for an 1.0 version and really free ! Best regards.

The 25fps has already been added to the New Project Creation panel and Resolution panel, and 24fps/25fps can be found at the Export panel.

The app looks great. Too bad the tutorial sound was muffled by boring repetitive background noise of supposed "music". Further it is narrated by a non-professional speaker whose uninspiring cadence and accent do not lend her voice to clarity. It's okay. I think anyone with prior knowledge of video editing can figure things through on their own. Just a great opportunity for a pretty good app wasted with poor sound in a first blush tutorial.
