Pro tip: use formless feint then use blades of pyer, and you will avoid the explosion damage.

Yes. My combo is formless feint, blades of pyre, come out of formless feint. Skull splitter/skull splitter. Repeat. Once you have all the augments unlocked that gives extra stam, stam recovery, faster when climbing enemies, more damage to vital spots, climb on them. Carve carve carve on repeat until your stam deprived and about to fall off, then gut and run for massive damage.

If you want the mystic spear hand maister skill immediately you can actually kill the drake that attacks melve where Sigurd appears. It’s a very good idea to make an inn save before attempting this as the game will auto save when the drake escapes. Run up to the ballista tower the moment the fighting starts and fully charge a shot at the drake. After it finishes writhing on the ground it will immediately attempt to fly away so immediately start charging the second shot after the first and release it half or mostly charged (expect the trajectory of the bolt to have more drop off) after it gets off the ground. This will have enough knockdown force to put it on the ground again. Finally you fully charge a third shot it it will be fatal. There will be alterations to some of the following cutscenes in the quest chain and Sigurd will hand over the scroll immediately after you gain the vocation.

I know this is an old guide. But the one thing you didn’t focus on archers. Is how important the debilitations you can add. Incendiary shot mixed with explosive shot to add tarring to enemies weak to fire, cyclops, minotaurs, ogre’s etc. does massive DoT damage. For drakes, use drenched arrows, have a mage with ice affinity to keep them in constant freeze. Or two blighted arrows for a massive poison DoT makes quick work of drakes

Decanter is a Holy spell. So, the staff that gives 100% to Holy makes it nice. If you are attacking Undead on top of that, then it's strong.

Seism is great against golems. It shreds the weak spots under its feet.

Riotous Fury with a maxed exalted mace one shots liches. Suits my paladin vibe really nicely.

Heavenly shot doesn't use all of your stamina. It does damage based on how much stamina you use. There is a minimum of about 1/3 of your bar, but aside from that you can release it at any time. A full power shot on a downed enemy's weak point can strip multiple health bars. I think it's one of the best ultimates in the game. I intend no malice when saying this, but you really should understand the mechanics of an ability before making a guide about the vocation which uses it. The description of Heavenly Shot explains exactly how it works. I don't know how you missed that.

I used trickster to free the court official from prison and distract the guards to steal the swords in melve. Also been using trickster spirit form to locate the bloody seeker tokens. Usually use it in warfarer vocation. The possibilities are endless thus they have a small move set. It’s unfortunate that tricksters don’t have martial art skills like archer with the taekwondo kicks.

You should use Trickster for the Pawn damage buff in Warfarer. That should work with Fighter, Warrior, or Mage if you are going Pawn heavy.

Big tip for playing Mage always run the Silent spell. I stops not bosses or big enemies elemental attacks as well as stuns them. It makes dragon fights a cake walk.

Buy yourself 2 Rings of Quickening at the Volcanic Camp Weapon Shop best 40K spend infinite Endurance if you have a short character and break the game by getting the Archers Endurance Augment

My first golem fight as an archer we knocked it over twice and I ran up and kicked every glowing medal on it single handedly destroying its health and surprising myself of the kicks effectivness

No, we are far enough along to know that you cannot get the items at melve until you do culling the monsters. Its the trigger for dragon, trigger for Lennart and ultimate getting mystic spearhead

I got Lennarts master skill from doing his first quest to destroy the monster nest....because he freaked out and ended up poisoned somehow despite being at the gate with the watchhead when i threw it and he died...i revived him with my only wakestone at that point...and then turned in his quest completion and he gave it to me after the conversation ended... but yea i thought tht seemed way too easy

True Deflect is not the only parry in the game... Both Fighter and Warrior have active parries.

I wishing they gave you an achievement for first seekers token since I’ve been going everywhere trying to find it. At least the PlayStation would have a screenshot or video of it. I’m thinking mine is on way to sacred arbor ☹️

True rpg players would’ve searched every inch of the first encampment and found the one on the roof of the blacksmith. Hah what a plebeian. I’m jk I just got super lucky that was where I was testing my max ledge grappling height and was like ooo what’s this. I would suggest going onto the interactive map online and go one by one in the areas you think you might have and cross them off as you go look in those spots. It’ll help you narrow it down if it takes you more than a few

It used to be six skills before, not 8. A bunch of skills from the first game were combined into one and others became core skills you could use at all times
