Hi bro just watched your video and i found it very informative for one who is going to purchase switches, switch plate and other accessories. That's exactly my case and i want to purchase new modular switches sockets mcbs and switch plates. Although i got the necessary information about the basics of material and brand but i want to know about a particular series of havells brand that is REO ELEGANT i want to know that where this particular series stands in your rating as per quality and durability? Is it worth it to put these switches and sockets, and whether this is a complete series having switch, socket, inner/outer plates and mcbs etc. or not? Can you please help me with this?

The Havells Fabio series would be a better choice compared to the Reo Elegant in various aspects, so I recommend choosing the Fabio series. It has almost the same design as the Reo Elegant. Plus, while the REO series has "REO" written on the front, the Fabio series prominently displays "Havells" on the front, reflecting its superior branding and quality

@@SumitHomeGuide hi sir, as per your last recomnedation i visited in the local market and found that yes reo is not for me and fabio would be a comparatively better option but after visiting the market there are some doubts that i want to clear before i do the purchase 1. i found that there are many brands like norisys, legrand, wipro north west which are way superior than havells, i want to know that is it correct that quality wise these brands are superior than havells or is there any particular series in havells which can compete with these brands? 2. since i am purchasing modular switches and accessories for the 1st time so i want to know that if i am going to purchase pc inner plates in havells or any other brand then, is the popping out of switch socket is more frequent problem or is there any particular condition when such problems arises? is there any other problem or precaution that should be kept in mind too if i am buying only pc inner plate? can you recommend 1 or 2 options available in market whose pc inner/outer plates are good enough and doesn't create any kind of issue with long term usage? also those should have a complete series so that i can get mcbs too. 3. is there any difference between pc and acrylic outer plates, which should be considered as per aesthetics and durability both criteria? 4. in wiring i am going with havells life line + HRFR grade wires, but after visiting the market i am now having second thoughts about my choice and i want to know that did i make the right choice or not? 5. lastly i want your expert advice on electical accessories that if i am a mid range budget customer then out of so much types, companies and series what should match my criteria so that i don't have to compromise in either quality or aesthetics? sir please help me with this, your expert advice and knowledge can help me a lot.

Only use mcb or motor strater for this application. Motor has a surge current. Meaning it pulls almost 3-5 times its rated current to start. That is why switches fail for this application. Mcb and motor starter can handle this load as they are designed to withstand high load.

Schneider livia is far better than legrand myrius. Livia switch has pure copper inlay with silver contact tip. And has a FR HOUSING. Livia sockets are made of pure copper and a phospho-bronze contact tip. Shutter quality is amazing as it grips the adaptor tightly and leaves no room for arching or sparking. also the plates are made of virgin grade PVC. Plus livia switches are 10A unlike legrand that offers 6A with bronze contacts that is not of the optimum quality. I know this because i have opened the switch and sockets of both these brands.

Legrand is on somewhat better it’s older brand having better R&D… It’s basically a French brand on the other hand Norisys is a national brand and gives competition to others…. Among choosing between the two it depends on which model you wanna go for as both brands has large variations from economical to premium range…. However my suggestion for you is opt for any one of them on the basis of your budget and prices in your local market… both are of good quality….

@@appinfocom7003 Yes I agree.In my thoughts After Legrand Gold medal provides best switches.I even tried L&T but not that much of quality despite having high price tag. 3rd is schneider I guess but after sell service is bad in foreign brands most of the time due to lack of service centres. Pritam in 80's had a huge market cap & their product quality used to be like anchor Roma series previously but don't know now a days but it was a good brand previously.
