Good to know that you use the same tactics. Btw you don't need to equip the bag at screaming forest, just don't carry anything in it when you go there. You can put your stuff when you reach there.

It could be a bug if slowdown doesn't work. Please report the same to the devs

More bolts need to be available per chest for the bike. Maybe 3 per small chest?

Bolts are rare. 3 in a box is too much if it isn't triple bloody tears chest
